By now you guys have probably seen this:

Honest assessment, both sides are bleeding, but I would say Pantheon is bleeding more...not fleets, but members. They're leaving because they are discouraged because no one seems to join them for the fight. They need hope and encourage them.
But now, it will be a miracle if Pantheon wins...They'll hurt DIGG, but I think they'll end up destroying themselves if other alliances don't step up.
Guys, I'm not much for speeches, but do we honestly want to have the server under DIGG control? They've gone way downhill from what I remember them as. Instead of following basic colony procedure, they take whatever they feel they can get away with. Trust me, I've talked to some people who aren't in top 20 alliances, and it's not pretty. If Pantheon kicks the bucket, and DIGG emerges victorious, I don't think we can keep them under control. There is almost no friendship between us and them anymore, and I doubt that we could successfully attack them. They'll basically have the server to themselves, with no serious threats to their leadership. I'm sure some could pain a rosy picture of DIGG happily dissolving once they've mastered the server, but do we really want to risk it? And do we want to have to kiss Phil299's butt? Because in a DIGG dominated server, that's what'll happen. And you know, I was a dinky player on the ikuk server, and I can tell you it wasn't much fun. Two dominant alliances made all the rules. You broke them, and you were screwed. If we want this server to be vibrant, we need to step up and crush this stagnating force while we still can. Before it's too late. We've taken down tyrants before.
I talked to a new player today. He has a 1 point isle. He was asking me for advise. Before I thought better of it, I almost told him to quit. It wouldn't be worth it, trying to start out now, not with the sorts of superpower that's sitting around here. (I stifled that burst of honestly, and put him under my protection and gave him some tips in the end.) Think of all the good that can still come from this server. We're only a year old. We just need to stop DIGG. Right now, Pantheon has probably taken the first heavy wave of DIGG attacks. Their membership is probably feeling discouraged. But if the legendary Morkin branch swings in and starts fighting alongside them, imagine what that'll do for morale! I've done some analysis, and we can beat DIGG if we join with Pantheon. We've got the numbers and power to do it. We might even encourage some other potential allies sitting on the sidelines. Guys, this is about the server staying fun and competitive! Are we just going to sit around while it dies, or are we going to sieze the moment and save it? Please, hear me out. Letting DIGG win will stifle this game that we love. We've made peace with the Orcs, and Rahein isn't posing much of an offensive threat to us. Let's at least start some planning, and let Pantheon know help is on the way. We can have a couple days to wrap some things up, but let's take the opportunity and get the Morkin war machine going.
