Posts like this in pantheon
Make me wonder if they are really interested in winning...

In response to the past few posts, I must say that it is a bit selfish of me wanting to go for all out war on DIGG while 42 of my isles are safely in Ocean 11 and 21. Perhaps those in the "DIGG belt" should have more of a say in all of this, but I must completely agree with Clausewitz, DIGG won't be all buddy buddy with us after this war. We'll be their last real threat on the server, and in soon enough, they'll take us out. This is really our only opportunity to eliminate them, and the window of opportunity is closing fast. But I think we can do this.

Just like Sol I too think that any logistical aid Luxor or KoM or Morkin can and will provide now (or tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, or how about next month...) will be "too little, too late".
It is indeed a great disappointment to see that Pantheon either has hidden their core that actually fights coordinated and has access to some rudimentary tools or that indeed after all this time they had to prepare: 'this is it'. It's a bit laughable, no wait - it's BEYOND laughable if you're coming fom where we are coming from.
To give Pantheon access to our database, or a part of it, or a new version of it... Too late to be effective. Won't make much difference, except if Morkin Inc. would join in now and would have access to it.
To help Pantheon with coordination now. Again, this should have been done way before this started, but nobody was interested in it, right ?
To those who put their heads in the sand and believe in continueing this game, you will ultimately have to do that as a part of Digg after this. Like the Borg you will be assimilated, or annihilated.
The difference between Sol and I on one hand and some of those desillusioned folks in Pantheon on the other is that while we also see the problem ad the possible futility, it doesn't stop us from fighting anyway.
I believe the only thing we can now do is just to fight to the best of our abilities. Like Churchill once said "We shall fight in the fields, in th air, at sea, on the land - we shall NEVER surrender (although we might be killed)". It's a paraphrased quote now, but I'm sure at one time in your life you will have heard it before.

Earlier is better but its never too late.
Numberwise, the units killed is few % of the toal thats available in the game. That really is nothing. Besiders that, its the morale that determines who wins.

Well the question is, will we sit here and discuss this, or will we step up and help? I'm probably posting too much here, and giving the same opinions again and again, so I'll stop posting here unless it's really called for. I'll let everyone talk.

Exactly what Ashimar said. Ha...
Cesium, perhaps the thing to ask for here is for a deadline to make a decision.

I dont know it this has been mentioned already, but why not a SUPER merge?......
we ALL could join [parthanononon] tonight/tomorrw... I think this would not only give the moral boost they need.. to get them back in the saddle, it may well rumble [digg] as they surely feel safe with the level of planning that [parth] have shown.... seeing the banner of the morkin mixed in the frey may well make them think twice,..
why not go whole hog and invite [valharu] (sorry can t remember spelling) over too?
or invite them all into MIGHTY MORKIN?
just ideas... but I do agree that we need to move now if we are to join....

I think it's a wonderful idea. We could have two alliances ready, a neutral one for those staying on the fence, and then an active one for the ones who wants to fight. Either a completely new set of alliances, with caretaker accounts to remain behind, or we merge into Luxor like in WWI.

We could have several alliances which enter the war at different stages. Kind of reserve forces. I'm happy to fight, but not quite yet...

After putting a few feelers out I have had severl replies from trusted players, all of them saying the same or very similar things.....I think the one below covers the majority feeling within [parth] at the mo..
"Honestly not so well, smallmerchantship.com pretty much sums up the whole war, we take isles in the old oceans they take our players in the outer ocean, at this rate DIGG will win the war.
Alot of our players are not fighting, im only seen attack reports from about 20 or so players(although im sure alot more than that are attacking)...cman127 one of our biggest players has made a secret deal with DIGG not to attack, I have no evidence of this other than a good friend of mine in DIGG telling me that but do you honestly think he wouldnt have taken a few isles by now if he was fighting? especially as he is in o3 where there are plenty of smallish DIGG isle from the ES war.
Personally were about to start attacking Ack_oz with Yatta, I expect we will lose alot of 012/013 isles when they counter-attack seeing as DIGG only have to worry about Yatta, but better than standing around doing nothing.
I think alot of players are scared of getting flattened by DIGG that would explain why so few players seem to be attacking, if we had Morkin on side it would make a HUGE difference, I think it would bring alot of players out of there shell.
btw this isnt ******* this is ******* I share the account with ****** but hes not online atm so thought I would reply, thanks. "

Okay, Sol has a point. We need to set a deadline, and then DO something.
