There was an excellent suggestion yesterday (sorry can't remember who or where) about how we could facilitate Diggs reconstruction.

We should bring that (and maybe other ideas) to the table ASAP. If war restarts we will prolly have a valid pretext for either going to war or staying out depending on what we want to do at that point.

Regardless the time will be useful to get our head space right.

Not a prayer DIGG splits under 2 days of duress. It simply gives them time to drop stoners (their reserves are much larger) on their gains, as well as organize strikes into o21-22 where they're considerably losing.

Time always favors DIGG since they have such a massive production base.

But at the same time, it gives us two days to organize our entrance...

How much will Digg breaking down actually accomplish logistically? Admittedly it would be the equivolent of them 'losing' the war but as long as they maintain the use of the same forum/tools they would still essentially be the same [Digg] - much how like we're all Morkin. Or would we be happy with that outcome?

Personally I'm a tad indifferent to it all... whilst such large alliances are likely to 'stagnate' the server I think that will happen anyway. Also, lets face it as far as tyrants go Digg are by no means even a patch on the Wraith of old. We talk of 'taking' down the behemoth but even after this war, no matter the victor, there will still always be two leading alliances battling it out for the #1 position.

Honestly, I think if we could restart the Cold War it would suit us nicely. Let everyone start building for WW3.

Digg splitting in an organized fashion IS a red herring. I don't think Pantheon wants it really; bruised egos looking for revanche is the real reason IMO.

Boredom and frustration are the only things that will make players leave Digg (e.g. Rahein and Biggles).

It is tough. Everybody is so entrenched that it's like walking through treacle. Digg are currently discussing if they'd accept a hypothetical offer of a ceasefire to discuss restructuring which might be offered if they are happy with it, or alternatively might not.

I know why I don't work for the diplomatic service in real life. I think in the German Empire 100 years ago I would've done alright, though, with their gunboat diplomacy... And I can perfectly well understand why Lemonion/Biggles left. But he wasn't patient enough.

Also someone from Valheru messaged me, they are entering the war against DIGG any time now and wanted to know where we stood.

So that's it then? If DIGG doesn't allow itself to be dictated to by Pantheon then Morkin will attack us too?

I never once lied about a god damned thing in this game save once. And DIGG was very well on its way to splitting before Pantheon decided to merge and try and tell our alliance how to play the game.
And we were going to split for one reason and one reason only, because it was good for DIGG. No member of DIGG could wage an offensive because it would be seen as bullying by DIGG. Many of our members want to be able to fight and unless DIGG split they would have eventually quit or left DIGG.

But I'll be fucked if we're to be dictated to by others. You talk of honor yet you stand by those that IMPOSE their opinions on others and when that doesn't illicit the response you desire you impose yourself instead.

DIGG never policed the server. We set up our rules and our guidelines and allowed other to abide by them or not. Many chose not to and we didn't care, just meant more work for our diplomats.

I thought any bad blood between our alliances was due to Clause but if Morkin wants to attack DIGG because we're NOT willing to be someones Puttana! then Morkin can go Chiavata! itself.

Tell me I'm wrong.
