Please post your thoughts here, such as whether gameplay is better/worse, controls in best place, general layout etc.
Please keep posting bugs in the BUGS forum, and distinct suggestions that I have not catered for yet in SUGGESTIONS.
Thanks

Is that speed no change, or speed rubbish?
As far as my own tests go, the speed should be about the same as before.

'Resign' button shouldn't be where 'end turn' used to be Seriously, it should be moved far away to a distant corner.

'Resign' button shouldn't be where 'end turn' used to be Seriously, it should be moved far away to a distant corner. But isn't that just because you're used to it there? New players won't have that problem, and you'll get used to it after a few moves (at least I did ).

But isn't that just because you're used to it there? New players won't have that problem, and you'll get used to it after a few moves (at least I did ). It's still too close to all other buttons. It is not a button that anyone would use often, so placing it there is wrong from any design view. Move it to the side, please. Or make the confirm box a double box ("Are you absolutely sure?") to distance it from a normal 'end turn' confirmation. The whole layout feels wrong at the moment, but I think I can get used to it. But that 'Resign' button has no business sitting there, however.

There seems to be some difference in behaviour between games: one game with " disband off " does not show strength of warriors, but another with " disband on " does.
There seem to be quite a few missing garrisons. I suspect this is a result of the new garrison code, but surely places like Mitharg, Shimeril, and all other inhabited strongholds should already have garrisons.
I think the "new recruits starting at dawn" option will result in some farcical games, specially for those third or fourth in line to take their turns. I hope that this is experimental, and that this aspect will eventually be fixed to whichever option the consensus finds best, rather than be left as an optional parameter.
Otherwise, I think I'll get used to the new interface eventually, although I'm with Mads on the "Resign" button placement. It should be moved away, even if only from a correct interface design point of view.

Was Xuratoth supposed to have moved away? Or was the idea with random dragons appearing already implemented?

Whats wrong with options? IMHO as much features as possible should be options.

I discovered another - lady, I suppose. Seen her army with the very corner of my eye, through a forest, then refresh revealed there's actually a keep. Wasn't able to visit it yet, and as Mads seems to be gone, full report will have to wait for tomorrow.
