A thought / impression... Or suggestion?
I like maths. I always did - but I don't like having to work out the numbers of riders and warriors to move to or from the keep or citadel. You have to move your hands on to the keyboard, and not like the journal, where you write proper stuff, but just for a moment.
My suggestion is this:
Create a drop-down menu, like the "select antoher lord" menu for the number of units to be trasferred.
On this menu, include the four following options:
To: 50 (for the purpose of establishing a garrison)
From: All rider/warriors bar 50 (for the purpose of leaving the garrison manned) All riders/warriors bar 200 (for the purpose of leaving the citadel to increment) As many units as the lord can take
This would ease annoying keyboard use, as they are pretty much the only things I tell my lords to do when transferring troops.
Maybe that's why I keep losing...

Another suggestion...
Squirrel armies! They are sorely missing from this version.

It will be good for save our time and nervs to do some redesigns.. 1. If it is just one lord or one keep or one citadel on drop down list of current lord no need to click on its name on drop down list..just enough to write ammounts and click on from or to. 2. If there are more than one on drop down list, to make that is possible to transfer to certain lord or keep or citadel simply entering ammount and double click on that lord, keep or citadel on list. 3. To move that default zeros in ammount boxes in the middle instead of alligned left as it is. Why? Simply then digits can be written before that zero instead of accuracy picking game with mouse cursor and then delete or backspace and then write digits 4. Similar is with battle reports.. JY positioned alligned right the ammounts of casualties in columns and then numbers are to close to next column and quite messy to read and calculate casualties. JY! Make numbers in columns to be alligned to the middle!

JY wouldn't have time to sleep or eat, if he would implement all suggestions from the forum. Besides, he implemented almost all of my suggestions. ;D That's a good one. I was thinking of proposing that myself. I think you meant list box. No, I don't think it's possible. Not without reinventing POST procedure to pass arguments to the PHP script, anyway. Again, remember that this is HTML/PHP app, not the Win/whatever executable. That sort of things are impossible to implement, or at least extremely complicated. Battle reports in their current shape, well, suck. Sorry JY, but that's not just my opinion. I find verbal descriptions far more appropriate than these tabular ones.

Maybe. I'm not sure how it will work better than current way, though.

Drill down would mean that the battle report line said: Marie fought JeanYves. She lost 500 men. Clicking on this line would " drill-down" to another window with all the details Nah. I think Marie is right. Just bare totals are enough. Like: He/she lost xxx of his/her men, while killing yyy of the enemy. Anyone can "drill down" his own armies to guess how many of which type he/she's lost. Oh, and verbal descriptions for numbers, of course! I think you meant "like LoMEx". ;D

OK, defaulting to the only lord/garrison on transfers is a good idea. I will add it to todo, but all new features will have to wait until after I crack the main outstanding bugs.
Tabular columns suck?! Fair enough. There is a thread about battle reports somewhere, I plan to do something like what was suggested.
And of course I meant LomEx! ;D
