So, using templates I presented before, here are some results: Spider: Two variations of the Hand: What do you say? Worth to do all this way?

Wouldn't it look better if devices were white instead of black?

Wouldn't it look better if devices were white instead of black? Like this? I don't know, I thought that Foul shields should be dark and grim. That's why they are black. Also, is it better if I leave back of the shields monochromatic, like these?

I must admit, though, I liked the most those shields at the start of the thread.

Yeah, but they're from Dungeon Siege, so it would be most likely copyright infringement to use them without permission...

I'm bit mixed up with this shield issue. On the other hand Perun's shields are magnificent, but somehow i also like the simplicity of JY's originals. We all know this isn't War of the Solstice engine, but graphically very coarse system.
Personally i don't eager for graphical improvements, but i also think that it's ok, if somebody want's to.
Best situation would be if the Local Graphics path thingy would work, then anybody could use their own graphics sets. Like: this game i would play with Peruns shields, and this with originals, just determining different paths for each game.
(And: I like the monochromatic better. And, foul lords also have different pasts, resulting also white stuff on their shields, all of them didn't born evil. Some might have turned, strayed from the virtue!)

We all know this isn't War of the Solstice engine, but graphically very coarse system. That's why I'm switching to simpler designs. And one of the reasons I'm making them is a fact that they are not Jean-Yves' originals, but borrowed from original LOM. And I wanted to make M/MU a little different from it. So there are few more shields: Athoril Blood Brith Herath Luxor Mitharg Morning Rorath Trorn Not very different from originals. Just different shield shapes.

Luxor's seem it could use some stretching of the crescent, but the shapes and general impact are quite alright. What is that about a hammer?
