But more seriously, what colours do you like, any favourite things, what describes you or your alterego? I need something to get started...

I even have description for my own shield, i like shields to be more than just pictures:
The Characteristic Purple background as basis for all, purple beeing the color of Balance, mind control and spirituality, and the final decicive element in the battle of everlasting battle of good and the evil, symbolized by the Black and the White orbs scaling out each other.

Sorry. Sorry.
What I meant was:
A nice smiley wolf sitting down (Salient)
Who is black in colour (sable)
Argent describes the field of the shield - the background. It is indeed silver!
I am very sorry if that sounded a bit haughty. I read it back and thought "Ooh-er!"

Is the Background anything near to Argent? Now i need to darken the wolf ? is it ok otherwise, or would you like more simple wolf?

Unfortunately i dont understand any of the word's you used. Argent? Is it a color, silverlike? Slient? wolf sable? English heraldry uses, not surprisingly, mostly french words for colors and shield elements.

We rock, that's pretty much my humble opinion... there is no end to the depths of our knowledge. I wonder if we will have the time to discuss all of our interests

This is what I've come upon after some thinking: Shield nr. 1 = major Free lords (Gard, Gloom, Ithrorn, Kumar, Marakith, Shimeril, Xajorkith, Luxor, Dawn) Shield nr. 2 = major Fey lords (Corleth, Dregrim, Dreams) Shield nr. 3 = Dwarven lords (Torkren) Shield nr. 4 = Targ lords (Utarg, Plainsman) Shield nr. 5 = minor Free lords (Athoril, Blood, Brith, Hearath, Mitharg, Ogrim, Rorath, Trorn, Morkin, Morning) Shield nr. 6 = minor Fey lords (Handmaiden, Kathryn, Korinel, Lek, Lothoril, Whispers, Lady, Shadows, Thrall, Thimrath) Shield nr. 7 = troopless races - dragons, wise, skulkrin. Since they don't have armies I was thinking of making banner for them instead of shield. Any suggestions? Shield nr. 8 = major Foul lords (Doomdark, Gorgrath, Grarg, Kor, Korkith, Vorgath) Shield nr. 9 = minor Foul lords (Morgallis, Myndolus, Hand, Smiles, Tuhr, Ul-Artath, Valethor) Does that makes sense to you? Opinions? Btw, shield sizes are relative. This means that major lords have bigger shields (tower shields) than minor lords (regular shields). Dwarves should have bucklers, so this one here is a bit bigger than it should really be.
