Try it here. Creation log is here. It's completely random. One strange glitch, but I cannot put my finger on it at the moment. Also, I cannot fully test it, since some functions/objects are missing (nudge, nudge, JY! ;D). Refresh window to display different landscape. It should be fast. Tell me what you think.

What's the chance of Midnight/MU using this... one area of cheating/exploits that would be removed.

Chances are very high. Say 100%! Not for v1, but after V1, I'm going to play around with the gfx libraries in PHP. I'll probably want to have a go at writing it myself at first, just so that I can learn how it's done, and will then compare with Iggy's version to see where I could improve my own version.

Hi Premis. Yes, certainly doable and something that is planned for sometime after V1.
I'm not sure yet whether the in-game map will show the whole of Midnight or only an area around each of your lords/citadels.
What do you think?

Hmmm..fog of war like in Warcraft2? But i don't see reason why to think of it at all..? The player would see the positions only of his lords! So it is not important is it their see range visible or whole map.. Or like in empire the war game of the century...the last positions of noticed enemy are visible but don't mean they are the true! I can make initital positions but this time with their shields JY instead of images of the lords...The only thing that remains is to implement that lord shields will point to server database and from there change their position on HTML map on our own PC? Or you meant the dinamical map from server?

On the server, since then when I implement other maps/scenarios (eg DDR), it's all dynamically driven from the database.
Otherwise you'd have to recreate a map each time that I sent you info on a new scanario or I changed the layout of any existing map.

That dinamical map will be like starcraft or warcraft type of map where player from above see the positions of his armies and all enemy armies and objects in the see range of his lords, keeps and citadels? If it will be so..the character view..the essence of Lords of Midnight will be sufficient!..There will be no need enter lords view at all and players will play LOM like starcraft or warcraft like gods from the view of above only not RTG!! 2. If you meant only their positions..that would be ok but it would be questionable because of the old reason... May the players see environment of their lords as the view draw slowly or they won't see objects behind objects as the view draw imidiately?

A Dynamic map should update like in TME. You only see what you've looked at. And certain terrain blocks terrain behind it.
Eg. If you are looking through a mountain range you won't see the lake or vilage behind, but because you can just see the Tower, it would be added to your map.
As for lords, you just mark thier last known position. If any of your lords see someone else later, then they can be updated on the map.
If you looked across the plains of blood and see armies coming through the pass, you can mark these on the map. However, you don't know any information apart from the fact you could see armies in the distance. To make the map more detailed, you would have to go and take a look.
This would give great use of your spies etc...
