How long before your SW contingent reach Kur-Aruth I wonder? Maybe I should do something about that. The fair halls of the dwarrowlords should not fall into doomy's grimy paws, or worse still into little Lothoril's oh so delicate fingers. Doomy, lothoril, and whoever... will not be attacking Kur-Aruth.

Doomy, lothoril, and whoever... will not be attacking Kur-Aruth. Worth a try, even if it was a weak bluff Blimey Chris, you're really giving my troops at Gorgrath a good kicking!

Worth a try, even if it was a weak bluff I can assure you it is not a bluff, my sw lords will categorically not attack Kur-Aruth... they have their eyes on other things... Good!

I feel that the tide is turning in this one. You dominate the citadel count, you won at Dawn (" run away, run away"), you've pretty much won at Gorgrath. I still have numbers on the field but in the wrong place My only noteable wins so far have been to take Korkith and Moon and to kill off Marakith and Lek. My troops are scattered, a goodly third or more need a good holiday, and you still have scouts out and about, although I hope that overnight you have one fewer...

Do you get the impression that it's now become a matter of honour as to which one of us is going to finally win that protracted set of battles at Dawn! Evasta and Kumar must be fighting in slow motion, what with their energy so low! The Gorgrath situation is now not looking as glum as I had thought, as I managed finally to get my dwarven troops up from Shimeril to join in. Not sure if it will be enough but hopefully so. I've decided to take Kor as revenge for Gard. Ushgarak will do for Xajorkith.

I'm not sure how the plains of Dawn is going to resolve itself, apart from knowing that I just made a mistake with Ithrorn!
Kor for Gard, Ushgarak for Xajorkith...
Vorgath for Kur-Aruth, Grarg for Shimeril...
Yes, yes... I understand! Let's get on with it!
Westley: Wrong! Your ears you keep, and I'll tell you why; so that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness is yours to cherish.
Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman that cries out, 'dear god what is that thing!' will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.
Humperdinck: I think your bluffing.
Westley: It's possible, pig. I might be bluffing. It's conceivable you miserable vomitous mass, I'm only lying here because I lack the strength to stand. Then again, perhaps I have the strength to stand after all.
[Slowly, Westley stands, his sword pointed at Humperdinck's chest]
Drop... your... sword.

H (JY): That may be the first time that anyone has dared insult me!
W (C) It won't be the last!
(probably paraphrasing very badly, but my memory is not quite so photographic as yours appears to be!!!)

Farewell Kur-Aruth. Evasta won't be needing you anyway as she is having her bottom bitten off in Dawn.
Mind you, Gorgrath is going to change hands, again! Hopefully Karya will have taken the stairway to shadedom in the process.
Kor is mine. Ush will be tomorrow. So citadel-wise it was even-stevens yesterday. Vorgath, Grarg, Lights Gloom and Dreams are next on my shopping list. So we'll have swapped map halves!
