Do you want me to tell you where all your lords are... give or take a days ride!

Interesting collection of goons in Athoril...
You're all over this map like a nasty rash. Still, interesting info that I received at a Tower last turn. Very interesting indeed. Interesting in a "can't bloody figure out what the hell that could mean" kind of way.

Was Marakith intending to attack a strongly defended citadel whilst nearing exhaustion?! Is this another one of your nasty traps? I see that you reached korkith just in time. Drat and bother. But still, I have sent my boys in for some fun: I've decided to play much more expansively this time, to see if I can win without creating super-armies, as is the usual MU way. We shall see. Having half my troops using zimmer-frames is not helping at the moment. But a more fluid style (a la Ringy), is certainly more fun than my usual consolidation/sledgehammer approach. Roll on 0.2's diseases!

But I am trying to move troops around more than usual, to keep you guessing as to where I might go next. I confess to a few decoy runs, just to keep your searchers happy! I'm engaging your troops at Dawn and Korkith, possibly Gorgrath if your boys attacked that overnight. And that's with a reserve being held at.. well, I'm sure that you know! At Korkith I'm attacking with only 3 armies, which is small fry by my usual cautious approach standards

Decoy runs... wasted on me... You've got people at shimeril, feeding blood, upto gorgath. You will flood your armies north to take doom square and sit in there - as I won't be able to get you out? or am I wrong?

Who knows, who knows. I won't just sit around in Doom Sq if you promise not to create a sledgehammer to pick off my scattered armies one by one! I'm feeding Gorgrath for a reason... Maybe two reasons

Tell me Korinel didn't survive that attack. Tell me, tell me!
You managed to pump Vorgath up just in time. It's going to be hard work now for my boys after their forced march north.
So far you've taken 2 of my citadels, and I only one of yours. Don't seem right somehow...

Coule of questions: 1. Dregrim, Xajorkith, Gard. Dawn next probably. You realise that we're not playing Citadel Grab, right? 2. Merlin goes solo. Any particular reason? a trap to spring this turn? Quite a gamble if so, with Dawn sending its finest and more arriving from the heartlands of the one true king. Another bonus question: What are you doing playing this at 23:00?! I'm not taking the rap if your missus has a go at you ;D

d**n. Where've you gone? 12 men left. Hoo, hoo - that was close! ;D. Was Lek deliberate? I sent my best cavalry after him thinking that it was Merlin. My scouts can't find him either. Gone to ground. Merlin? Rabbit more like ;D
Korinel RIP. Vorgath had a lucky escape, I didn't look around until too late. Plainsman isn't so lucky. I want Moon back!

Well now then, the game picks up some extra spice at Gorgrath. Nice attack. You'd been lurking there with the goon squad for so long that I didn't expect you to ever move!
The squirmish at Dawn is most inrteresting as we're so finely balanced. The citadel had to be left at minimum strength so that I could throw everything at Merlot. Now it's all rather up in the air, although help is at hand... almost.
How long before your SW contingent reach Kur-Aruth I wonder? Maybe I should do something about that. The fair halls of the dwarrowlords should not fall into doomy's grimy paws, or worse still into little Lothoril's oh so delicate fingers.
