A goodish start for the Lord of Midnight (that's me, by the way).
Which makes a pleasant change from all my other recent games!
How about you other two?

Ouch! I have 2 already (smurk mode on)
What you say makes me think that you could have started in the same place that I did in 1-Strangers in a Strange Land.
After this game, let me know where it was, and if it's the same I think that one of the lords should be moved there from one of the overcrowded areas.

Mine was a distinctly average start. I thought it was a terrible one at first, but then I realised I was one league further north, and that wan't so bad.
Still, it depends entirely on where the two of you started.

Would one league really make that much difference - ie between average and terrible?

Mixed bag last turn. Got a VERY lucky cup that did wonders for my recruitment drive in one area, and then moved the wrong way in another, losing half the day No sign of any of you lot yet... Or is there? Who's that at the xxx of xxx?

Aha well now I know who it was! Well, since I believe I've made visual contact on the other side too, it looks like I'm piggy in the middle and overrun already. My average start is starting to look less good with every day.

Aha. that gives me an idea of where the nocturnal rodent might be then. If I had known that it was His Eminence the A-list Celeb himself, I may have been a little more proactive in chasing you down But if you're where you are, then surely you've got fairly strong hold on the centre and the SW already? Not exactly overrun. Or did you and Mads start close to one another?

I'm not anticipating a long participation in this one.

Mads, were going to have to play a 1-on-1 at some stage, so that you can remind me why I am so scared of your cavalry

I should think that if I lose this game, I'll never hear the end of it! Good starting position in the North, and it looks like both me enemies started in the South. Plus Mads started in the same place that I did in game 1, which is Game Over pretty much! (I can say now - was it Corelay?)
