I can message one if you want but from experience with the orcs they aint the type that do things diplomatically.

Alright, McGoogus, you're the "official point-of-contact" then?
I'm already working completely unofficial backchannels with Otak, Azagh, Lokim, and Turdmugg - all of whom I have worked with extensively in the past and can expect a no-BS, off-the-record conversation from.

Sounds good to me. Are their diplomats real diplomats or are admins where I should head to?

From Azagh...
EDIT: McGoogus, I'd go to an Admin. "Di-low-mat" is the entry-position they force all newcomers to hold as an insult.

Leave it with McGoogus he trust worthy.
I'm way to sided with crushing the orcs to give them the "right" attitude.

While I don't agree with all their decisions they do stick mostly to character and they do have a few good causes. It would be preferable not go to war with them for the variety and unpredictability they bring to the game. There are better enemies for both of us. Marc did respond in a very Orcish way and it was justified (though I hope to amount of damage he caused was). Do they have any demands on the table yet?

What I'm hearing from my two close contacts are that since Ashimar has attacks landing on Makari, they've got no choice but to retaliate against Ashimar. They don't think there's a way around that fact at this point.
I think we need to know - what is Marc's intent here? Did he leave Corleth to go down in a blaze, since he couldn't find a buyer for his account? Or does he intend to stick around, in which case it would actually make sense to fight alongside him?

I'll try and give my own comments and report the proceedings tomorrow (for me it's night now, past 03:00: will sleep now).
Thanks to those writing stuff in my stead. I was busy elsewhere.

Aaargh, just had to read this a bit. (only page 6 though).
Yes, the plans to sell are from the table. I've been trying desperately since that Rhinocaps deal went bust due to all upheaval and Digg entering against Rhino and such. I -as a last effort- tried to advertize a bit on the respective official forums to no avail. And I'm just not going to chop my account up in pieces, so in that case I will use it myself. If Makari does not back off, he is going to be destroyed by me. He has 50 isles. I have 50 isles. If I launch all I got at his, he will be in a far worse shape islandwise than I will be. But we'll see.

Hehe, out for some Orc hunting ?
Diplomacy with Orcs is so ... I'm missing words here.
The only langage they understand is 'Attack in', 'Attack out'.

Are you happy to go this one-on-one? Us wasting the Orcs does no one any favours long term. However should other Orcs step in we would be forced to act.

So is it a case of you wanting to destroy something, use your power, now that your keeping the account? Or simply wanting to destroy this guy for messing about with this colo dispute? (both are nice!) I ask, because if its a case of simply wanting to destroy something, aren't there better targets out there? What if you made an open challenge to the server for a 1 on 1 with any taker? Would be lots of fun I'd think, and would garner a lot of interest, take the heat off the whole Pantheon/Digg thing....Perhaps one of the long time players would rather go out like that, then in a massacre by Digg! Just a thought Destroying an Orc would also be fun I suppose.

A little background to Makari incase anyone didnt know. The account he is in position of at the moment is Azagh's. Azagh swapped with him after the rhino incident as he wanted to take a back step from the game. The account got battered around a fair bit by rhino but to what extent im not sure. I think for that reason as much as any the orcs wont want to ssee the account destroyed, and from what I have heard from Makari hes a fairly clever player though rather agressive

Sure, I can do it alone for now, Frei.
The attack was not so spectacular as it turns out. Perhaps due to too high accuracy (attackrating) there was not much collateral damage to speak of, and the colonization bounced:
