He's only been here a day or two and already has a diplomatic thread made about him Ok, so CaptianCadaver's story is that he thought this issue was resolved, although it still wasn't mentioned in the history part. He did however mention his bit about being cocky; hence his "Spying on Morkin..." line. What bugs me though is the way that Okeanos thinks this "should not fall under the terms of our peace treaty". Two points; first off is that we don't have a Peace Treaty. Second point; if we did have a Peace Treaty whats to say he could dictate the terms to us anyway? We might as well put under the Terms & Conditions of all Peace Treaties in the game;

I think we need to hear CC's version of events from after his expulsion from Pantheon before any decision is made.
That said, the above message to Kom from Dasneal reads like an ultimatum, IE 'tell us in 48 hour's we can take down CC or we are going to take him down and you with it if you get in the way'
Its what isn't in that message that riles me, lets be honest its little more than a veiled threat under the 'Pantheon' banner
grr, each time I read this it irritates,
I didn't realise that our non-existent Peace Treaty was on their terms

If you ask me, this seems like a personal war and it seems that both sides especially CC is holding some information. It looks like CC had an argument with them and when he didn't get what he wanted he suicided on them. If I were them, I'd be pissed off too. And now, it looks like CC joined us for protection.
We should have CC explain himself. I haven't seen him around the forum at all, so someone should inform him.

I agree with sol, if he was fighting with the pantheon admins before he joined us then he should have told us in his application ! Thats the point of all the questions asking if he's involved in any current disputes. If Dasneal is telling the truth and CC attacked them and then joined us i think we should get rid of him.

There are some serious inconsistencies in that quote, and I have a hard time reading whether CC only threatened to attack or if he actually did attack. So far I've read it like he threatened to attack the admins without actually doing it, but I also agree that there must be some missing links in the story.

But he didn't attack them! He threatened to suicide his account, but there's a pretty big difference there. CC probably figured that it had just been a squabble, and was over, which is why he didn't mention it.

I get the feeling that DasNeal is telling the truth with the exception of this imaginary peace treaty. I mean, at least he took the time to write to the admins to solve this in a friendly manner. Yeah I know he made some bold requests, but I guess admins have to be that way. It also seems that CC tried to take care of this behind our backs (since he didn't even mention it on his application) and is using his Morkin membership to scare away attacks.
Right now, my own personal thoughts is to kick him.
added:
Yeah, now that I read that quote again, he didn't attack him, but he made the threats to...which I suppose is as dangerous. But maybe we should give CC another chance and have him explain himself here.

I heard about this one when I was over at DIGG, through various sources. I have no reason to doubt DasNeal's story.
But as Sol says, threatening to suicide on a mate does not quite have the consequences of annihilation - hundreds of players make such statements in the heat of the moment. In fact, Werddrew of DIGG declared he was suiciding on me when I was Admin and removed him from Staff (his contributions were purely detrimental), and I actually advocated keeping him in the alliance - to speak nothing of attacking him for mere words of passion.
No vested interest here - just throwing in another perspective, for whatever it's worth.

Indeed, words are not actions, and I doubt that DasNeal can show as much as one actual attack report. To me it reads like CC had a falling out with the others, and discussed his options, including a suicide attack on the people he disagreed with. In that case, I doubt he would have sought safety in KoM. Safety is not a requirement when you suicide.
Instead, I think he reconsidered, and left to find another alliance. But the time outside an alliance made him a tempting target, so by upstaging the disagreement, DasNeal & co. tries to make a case for making him (read: his isles) a (colonisable) target, so they can feed a little.
I think he should stay, as long as he promises to not make similar statements to us, sn as long as he don't run any vendettas, with actions or words, against his former alliance. If he acts against Pantheon on his own, we can't help him, obviously.

So, lets hear his side of the story? I'm not trying to go terribly against him...I'm just...paranoid. Sorry.

IMO, Capt. Cadaver is one of the lesser things to be paranoid about in KoM.

Pantheon's attitude in this is pure false bravado where they are trying to make a name for themselves. i.e. How dare he (actually she) insult one of our admins and get away with it.
I think she should have declared that they were spying and that she had a falling out with Dionysus (and it is really only him) after the disolution of VALOR; however I don't think we should throw her to the wolves. I have no respect for Pantheon (they have threatened a number of players with join us or be destroyed) so I feel any refugees from this alliance should be looked after.

Has CC got access to this forum, perhaps now is the time to speak as the deadline is tomorrow morning and based on that I'm sure some Pantheon members would be required to launch today to co-ordinate attacks, that is assuming they can/do.
Perhaps someone on the Ingame forum could give CC a nudge
I also think that regardless of the situation, we(a KOM Diplo) should state to Pantheon that until we get CC's side of the story any attack would be an act of war with the gravest possible consequences.
If nothing else it takes the control of the situation away from them until we are ready, unless they are prepared for war with the quadvirate.
