Hey folks! Im not sure if we have anything better right now, but ive got something fairly convenient. I asked a friend to make it for me , and he asked for nothing in return, so its not fancy. If we want, it can be password protected, among other things. Just select an ocean from the list for all unowned isles in said ocean. Better hurry. My favourite ocean (16 atm) , only has 326 left! Results take about 80 seconds to come in. www.steven509.navixhosting.com/ik_com/Enjoy! EDIT: New password set : " Canada " . Take that Eproxy. You guys can let me know of any changes you want to see, and Ill try and get it done. Let me know of how you want the password(s) to work, and other functions you may desire.

I would call it just about perfect for what it does.
EDIT: Having to retype the password for every search is a little annoying but I will get over it.

I assume it works by hitting the server for every request? I mean, how else could something like this take 75 seconds?
I hate to be that guy again, but am I the only one who realizes that this is blatantly against the rules?

You can't fool me. You love to be that guy ;D Does it break the "surface of the game" or the "exorbitant number of hits" part of the rule? I personally don't think it effects the surface of the game and have no idea how many hits it actually generates or if the administrators would find that number to be exorbitant. It's really a matter of perspective for both parts of the rule, making it somewhat ambiguous. I will be using this tool every day at 8:05 EST. Thanx rock.

Rules? What rules? I doubt its a set IM bound by. In fact im sure of it, as Im free from all rules. Even gravity can't touch me. And physics ? Laws are meant to be broken.

"§4 Programs that automate processes in the game, change the surface of the game or generate an exorbitant number of hits are strictly forbidden on all pages of the INSELKAMPF website." emphasis mine. And you can argue that any tool that will generate a large number of hits based on a single click does violate the rule about "exorbitant number of hits". There is a cost involved with every page impression, in terms of bandwidth and CPU, and that rule is clearly there to keep the cost of running the game down.

True. but if the game admin had not wanted us to use any tools that cause hits on his pages he would have specified that generate any hits rather than generate an exorbitant number of hits. This must mean he allows some tools. I still dont think it changes the surface of the game. Your a purist noobs and thats cool but I believe the admin left wiggle room in his rule sets for a reason.

Andrew your a genius and i love you ! on the subject of whether or not it breaks the rules yes it probably does but there are hundreds of things that break the rules and sven isnt even remotely interested. that tool gives us an enormous advantage. incidently would a greasemonkey script be classed as changing the surface of the game ? i'm not against them either its just a query

I do think it breaks the rules, as does RAID's map. But 2kcastle makes a valid point, that Sven turns a blind eye to it all, and consequently everyone is using them.

I like the tool and will hereby confess to have used it. I just sent a colonyship and 6 spies against relevant targets, returned from it.

Raids map doesn't break the rules.
The first bolded bit is clear, if it's not in the game it doesn't matter. I have my maps that take no time to update and generate only 1 'hit' per player I want showing up. It's not in-game so it is ok.
As for the 'exorbitant number' he really ought to specify that, is 1/sec ok? Hell I click more often than that when I'm online, what about 10/s? That's certainly somewhat automated but if 1000 players are online its nothing.
