Whilst I suppose the Orc conflict is is skirmish we didn't just attack one or two players (as a skirmish might be) but we were pretty much at war with an alliance, surely that could make it count as a campaign?

Bit inbetween, we were at war with an entire alliance but really only attacked those that attacked us.

Orc (Operation ELF) is a campaign, not a skirmish. Skirmish usualy dont take up so much time, space and trans-alliance coordination. And as for Gornall's statment, I'd just like to remind that we ARE ar war with all, but just CHOOSE to hit on some first. It was the same with M|X, Phoenis and E|S, where we also didnt hit all players, because of how will like to conduct warfare.

Ie. give them the option of staying out of it to make our job easier and we might just let you live

Exactly, why attack someone and use ships that could be used on a more aggressive target.
