I'm getting some today after this exam (around 4:30pm) but I'll be back in the house by then anyway (for a night of gaming ). Funnily enough I got that Elona GMC title as well yesterday ^^ As a note more in-line with the thread has anyone given thoughts to a Campaign Ribbon for the current war? Obviously it's not finished yet (we aren't even guaranteed to win either...) but I don't think it could hurt too much

Something simple...I think there are going to be many symbols added to the ribbon for some members (colo Puttana!, bombardment, killings, organization...etc). So its important that you submit all your reports to the database

One ribbon for the whole campaign, or one each for the war against MX, then Phoenix and finally E|S? It's like those arcade games where on each level you get a bigger boss to beat up!

I see Operation Sunrise (though the name came later on in the war, given by Shendemiar for concentrating on E|S - or was it Phoenix) as a whole, and not as 3 separate campaigns. But its up to the alliance.

Hmm what's this participation honor about? Its a special award that represents how many campaigns you have been in. There are also special alliance awards that sum up for diplomacy, organization, killings, bombarment and take overs in campaigns. (thinking again, maybe they should have had different graphics to help understand better) Though not totally up to date, its still important you read the following thread as the award system is basicly still the same: Quick info + FAQSee post #3 and #4. The Participation award is viewed as an Alliance award - meaning: the alliance gives you an award for taking part in x number of campaigns.

what was required for the operation europa ribbon? You had to either colonise or attempt (I think) to colonise in Oceans 33 and 34. Or do something to help in that endeavour.

what was required for the operation Europa ribbon? AEROS! You don't know? We had a special board and all, just for it. To answer your question read the whole thread (which is very short - 5 replies) at OPERATION EUROPA - A NEW NATION (see reply #2, and its special after note) And Shendemiar, Operation Europa is not a skirmish. Though it was not a war-like campaign, it nevertheless has all that required to be considered a rightful campaign, as there was an objective (colonize islands), and much planning, organization and discussion took place prior to its launch. A skirmish usually just pops out of the blue, and people just resolve the problem quickly (usualy counter attacks, or even diplomatic resolutions) I've described the diference between the two in IV - Showroom [Common to All] Skirmish - reply #1 Specifically in this FAQ:
