One ribbon for the whole campaign, or one each for the war against MX, then Phoenix and finally E|S? It's like those arcade games where on each level you get a bigger boss to beat up! Changed my mind, one ribbon is enough,. I think there should be a special motif or ribbon for those who took heavy losses and lost isles etc, kind of like the "Purple Hearrt", maybe a separate ribbon which can be given in any campaign for those who bravely sacrifice themselves for the good of the alliance?

what was required for the operation europa ribbon? You had to either colonise or attempt (I think) to colonise in Oceans 33 and 34. Or do something to help in that endeavour. I made an attempt. It was a no-hoper 172hour journey or something like that though. Safe to say i gave in.

Does look weird compared to our green Luxor/FoM badges though. Europa is definately a nice looking badge. I will await Europa ver2 when either 8 or 17 opens. I got isles all over the borders there so will be colo whoring accordingly.

The bigger version of Operation Europa is better than the smaller version.

Operation Europa is over.... You could be elegible for another Operation, like Columbus. Getting rid of a riibon because it looks out of place? I though it showed merit for having taken part in something with us all...but oh well, if you wish I'll take it off you Ruku, but dont ask for it back when you satrt getting more ribbons for other things and then you remeber all of a sudden that Sunrise will look nice on you at that time

BTW, Taken from Topic: II - Showroom [Common to All] DecorationsOPERATION EUROPAWith the need of concentrating as much members of the triumvirate in one ocean, Operation Europa was envisioned to create such an ocean dominance in oceans 33 and 34, which had, at the time, the most free rule less islands. Within the time frame that was established, the triumvirate managed to colonize 7,5 % of the oceans in 3 weeks. Considering the effort of sending colony ships over 2 days travel with a 50% chance of success, the operation was regarded as being successful. In fact, in retrospect, it was mainly due to EUROPA that prepared the triumvirate for the next campaign against E|S, Phoenix and MX, where the large stock of colony ships was used to swiftly takeover many enemy islands. At least 50 members took active part in the operation with emphasize to Nottap's feat of colonising 14 islands, and many others getting over 4 successful hits. The organisation of the operation was managed by Inyati and Warliter. EUROPA is not an open-end project and remains active. Our objective is still to grow as much as possible in o33/34. For more information read: The Triumvirate ArchipelagoTHE RIBBON (Designed by Eproxy, many thanks to Inyati for actually making it look awesome though) Participation: sOE1 Major colonial takeover: sOE2 Organization: sOE3 personal reminder: need to add Sunrise to that thread...

I hope no ones waiting on me to make more ribbons or give out campaign one? 'Caus I ain't doing it Naturaly I dont take part in every skirmish and campaign that goes on in the alliance, so it depends on others to assume iniciative. I remind you that the latest affair involving the Orcs could be considered a skirmish ( defenition in Reply #1) Also rap the Columbus Operation and anyother that may exist. How can you go about ribbonizing? Easy, create a thread here like "Operation Columbus Ribbon". Post ideas/images for the ribbon or ask if someone has time to make one. Use this space to post the names of those that will be receiving the award as well. This will make it much easier for me and Patton to follow up, help and hand out as well.

I have a copy of the proforma in PSD file format if anyone is interested. It also contains the updated KoM ribbons.
