Hello, I am DrieZ from the Haven alliance. But as you know, we are having some trouble with the -S- alliance of Tyrant. I'd like to apply for FoM. I'm in ocean 11, around 10 nautical miles north of Cesium.
I quite have some expansion space around me, and I also got a few good farms.

I'm very active. Once I'm home from school, I first do some of my homework, then I get on inselkampf to get my account way stronger.

My army is as following:

I started this account around November 1st, but this is the first Inselkampf I play. I did not play the .co.uk or the beta, but I got quite a lot good hints from Cesium and Blazed..

Raiding? I have something like 70 or 80 myself, and I think Aja has even more to rake in all her raiding capacity each day.

Raiding would be my guess aswell, that extra 1 knot makes all the difference to resource collection, can reduce a 2hr journey to just over 1. I am using it at the mo as my ocean seems to be a farm for all nearby.

Lets see what his application has to say before passing judgement, Note he has stated that he has never played IK before, could be inexperience.

Driez is a little nuts. I wouldn't worry about it. He's got friends in Phoenix and all that.
One thing. What's wrong with lots of SMS? They're incredibly useful! I've got about 55 on my main, and they are THE weapon of choice when it comes to fast raiding.

I always send lms with my raiding fleets so it doesnt make mine any quicker, actually i dont know why i send them its just something i've always done and im not keen on change
its not the fact that he's got 50 odd sms its that he's got no lms at all and only 9 sws. ive always assumed most people farm inactives with fleets of sws and sms in equal numbers just because it seems the most effective way to do it. when your only getting a few hundred resources at a time its not worth sending large fleets that come back empty.

I don't use LMS anymore, my IKUK account (just for an example) has around 2880 SMS and just 10 LMS. On this server I had quite a few SM and did lots of raiding untill I encountered a problem with my keeping my records for it. This issue has now been resolved and I will go back to full raiding soon (I hope)!

I have about 80 on my main myself, needed for all the raiding I say

Yeah, i only have handfull of LMS, only for friendly stuff transport cos i cant spare SMS for that.

Well now you would be quite wrong in your assumption there LWS travel at the same speed as SMS, so why would you send SWS as it does not benefit you in anyway, but instead just costs you more

SMS and LWS in my mind are the only sensible things to build on insel. Especially as my raiding combo is 6LWS and 6SMS, but what do I know Im just a noob hehe
