And as a bonus, DIGG has a self-imposed gag order, so we can get public consensus without them

And as a bonus, DIGG has a self-imposed gag order, so we can get public consensus without them ;D ;D ;D Feckin genius. Ah, can ye imagine the frustration! Heh. And I made sure I said something about "Morkin currently considering the future of the AMC" on the public forum last week. I warned them we were planning on starting this debate amongst the community soon. LOL. This is gonna be easy.

I think it would be a good time now for anyone who has a good Pantheon contact to see if we can stoke the fire so to speak.
Perhaps if presented as a an idea from just a friend not necessarily an admin/diplo, that the general consensus in Morkin is that DIGG are preping for war with either Pantheon or Us.
We could potentially then suggest that if DIGG did attack them it would be an unprovoked attack borne out of fear and that we would potentially back them if this was the case.
It would be a pretty big blow if DIGG goes quiet, then pops up to attack a considerable threat, only to have probably the 2 biggest threats to them join forces to take them down. This message from us might just be enough to hold Pantheon together rather than allowing the cracks that are there to expand.
It would also ensure that if DIGG decided to target us that we would have a good chance of Pantheon backing us.
If we did this then we post the whole AMC situation, it could turn in to a demoralising double whammy for the general diggers

A formal announcement might be problematic- it would look like proof that Pantheon and ourselves were planning this all along.
On the other hand we still need it known that Pantheon and ourselves will not allow the destruction of the other.
We should also get real friendly the E||M etc.

The only formal announcement would be regarding the AMC, The backing up Pantheon message would purely be to Okeanos, Obviously he would share this, but we should sugest that it be kept in the higher echelons of their heirachy. IMO if Pantheon breaks it will be the individual alliance leaders that begin the rot. If they show unity in their forums, the 'staffers' will mostly stay with them. Basically we undermine DIGG to pantheon on a personal level with Okeanos, and we publicly air our plans/concerns over the AMC to take away any Ammo they have to use as reason to attack us. If pantheon take our message as a boost( which I believe they will) and we discredit DIGG's ability to use the AMC to attack us it would increase our public standing and also show Pantheon that we are not DIGG's war dogs that have split to lure Pantheon in to a trap. If this works I would imagine it to be a considerable coup for us on all fronts. I may be wrong but its what I believe

Sounds good to me warliter! By all means someone contact Pantheon about this. Just be careful not to commit us to anything, eh? And like I said the other day: get out there everyone and lovebomb the server. Just be friendly, chatty and helpful to everybody.

OK, sorry for the late reply, I missed this earlier.
The history of the MK-5 account: it regularly gets messages sent to it, which I summarise and post on the AMC forum. That's it. One or two comments, but NEVER any decisions, regardless of how obvious/non-obvious the case is.
Since taking it over, MK-5 has never colonised an island, and was used ONCE against bulbizar.
The main problem is apathy, lack of participation. There are repeated discussions on the constitution of the AMC, but they never work, basically because they require the participation of other alliances. Hence my suggestion to use a jury system. Those 2nd tier alliances I spoke two were in favour of such an idea, as the AMC is even less effective than the UN.

If they have done it right, yes. You'd be amazed though how people can Chiavata! up with that, no offense to anyone though.
