The ultimatum has to be an official letter, and not one optained via black ops (of course). Spoilsport! ;D

The ultimatum (legitimate and sent to our Admin):
I've highlighted the part which we interpret as an ultimatum. More reasons to condone it are: 1 - They pick an un pact allaince over a long pacted one 2 - They assume that they can meddle directly in our affairs, when we turned a blind eye on their over excess interest in bulling other alliances till abandonmente (E|S for one who had wanted peace but they just wished to flatten them) 3 - And lastly, "pulling rank" implies that we are in effect their vassal.

Nice, and please lets not turn this into another war, meaning no argumentative war agianst phil et al. We read (and we'll probably hear more things), we post our official missive and leave at that - a dry response. Decision made.

Heh - maybe Morkin was at fault for that fleet but it doesn't give Phil the right to explicity garner support from Digg against us.
It seems ironic that alot of us actually wanted to help Orc out during the Rhinokiller incident but we didn't because we found it just that an alliance well renowned for bullying smaller alliances does its penance. Now it seems that both Orc and Morkin have been brash but Digg/Phil chose to side with Orc. It's also amusing they use the Rhinokiller incident as a pretense for favoring a weakened alliance - but the Rhinokiller incident had nothing to do with our desicion. Alas it seems Orc cannot take their own medicine.
When he says he'd pull rank I think he meant he'd pull rank with Digg to get them involved but it is a bit ambiguous.

Pantheon just dropped / is dropping their Pact with DIGG now as well. It's obviously going to be taken by DIGG as premediated, but we can hold our heads high knowing the truth.
This was DIGG's own doing by choosing the Orcs over their most powerful ally; they can cast themselves the victims all day long, but we've got the evidence to justify our move.
Our strength has always been the fact that we're armed to the teeth, and a tight group. Now we retreat from the pending DIGG-Pantheon to maintain that "armed to the teeth" perception, and watch the fireworks ;D

IGM from Dasneal.
It's already been dropped by Pantheon. Not even a PT in it's place.

I like the way phil tries to scare us with this bull about Pantheon anti-Morkin sentiment! Does he really think we are so stupid as to fall for that and rush back into the DIGG slave pact?
Pantheon vs DIGG, bring it on! Having seen how quickly Pantheon has grown recently, I actually think they might just have a chance against DIGG in a straight fight.
But it wont be a straight fight of course!

My impression is that it is a matter of "when", not "if"...

;D ;D ;D ;D I'm very pleased with the progress that has been made here! I wish I could give exalts to all the people here, but I can only give one. And, DIGG is lying as always. Pantheon has no desire to attack us... I assume the breaking pact with DIGG is being posted on the official forums? Do you want to become a Morkin admin, Sol? This is a very honorable position. But no, I don't think I am fit for it. There are wiser and more prepared people here like inyati and Dalfiatach. Congratulations to you both.

The ultimatum (legitimate and sent to our Admin): phil299 wrote: ---------- I have copies of 3 igm's from Ashimar(he copied them to me himself). The contents of which make me insist that morkin puts a stop to this now. I will press for digg involvement with our staff...which I expect to get with no problems. Orc will not be driven from the server by morkin. This time I pull rank. Morkins conduct through Ashimar is provoking this beyond the bonds of your own moral code. I will move for our involvement by tomorrow (8 hours)if the situation does not change radically.(off the record ...are you certain of the soundness of the person controlling the Ashimar account?) phil That is by far enough reason to drop the pact, and actually more than enough for much more too. And i find questioning Ashimars person extremely offending. This dude just got himself to my blacklist.

I think I saw Clause or Skulks mention 'isolationist' in one of their posts. I like this idea. I would like to see us post something to that effect on the IK forums, remove all pacts and treaties except those pacts we have with each other and then go completely black for a week. When the week is done, we could resume a pact with Hawk and pursue pacts with other small alliances. I would like to completely ignore DIGG and Pantheon for the next 30 days. I am just looking to further separate ourselves from DIGG and Pantheon without starting a fight over it.
