I think that's clear enough. Who wants to plan this? I can if you give me an hour or two.

Word is that peace is coming. For one thing Orc is holding their own against the -S- players attacking them (Shame, because I could really tear Pumpit a new one, he is so close to me), and most -S- players don't want a war against DIGG and us, and whoever else jumps in.

Psychological warfare rather than all out warfare! Convince the other members that these few foolish minorities, should not be representative of their "wonderful alliance", and as a result are being "scorched". Shame we dont have a mole in their alliance to find out such things... I wish I sat an account over their... Do it quick, do it right, do it well, and we could find little fleets could be needed to avert such warfare! I'll begin on a few friends right away... ask their opinions!

So, let's jump in quick now, steal a colony or two and then have peace before tea-time.

Why not mass spy the whole of -S- members, and then send them all our spy reports? ;D ;D

Why do you go spying around when the startegy is not agreed, hell, the whole war is not agreed yet?
I dont like this at all and im angry.
Skulks, you got us in to the Tyrant war allready speaking so openly against him in any possible forum, so that we had to do it for our own good. It was good to happen, but it DIDNT HAPPEN ON OUR TERMS AS WE HAD TO DO IT.
That we barely managed... combining all the strenghts we had, including -S- member distraction... and it was just one account.
"Morkin GONE!" Imagine that for a second and tell me do you enjoy the idea. Not undermining peoples efforts, but I know we would have lost without Arminius, Ashimar and Me. We are exhausted. And you are pressing for a new war. We just cant make it.
I admit its good opportunity for war now, but our moral mandate ended on Tyrants Isles, and after that, this is just opportunistic con-job. We have the Fleets to do it yes, but its just the same as before Tyrant war, we are not organized at all. We have no plans. Yes, we got is will, but there is nobody to do the shitjobs.
I dont bother to explain it more, ask me after an hour when im calmed down.

Excuse me, the decision to go to war against Tyrant was already taken by the alliance as a whole. We went to war early to support Orc and it was agreed by a majority decision. That's how democracy works isn't it?
We go to war in support of our allies, but if the alliance as a whole would rather sit back and watch then I am bound by the majority decision.
We have backing from Orc, Digg and probably others if we need it. I will sit tight for now, no more spying until we get this sorted out.

Whatever we do, we have to be united. I wonder if another war so soon is a bridge too far, but I'm new and haven't put in the hours on the old server. I would feel slightly immoral to attack without a good reason too.
Above all, we are "virtual mates" and should support each other at all times - right where's me herbal tea...

I undestand the concerns, particularly Guin's earlier post about Orc suiciding, but I have to say, I like Orc - and they have proved steadfast in the tyrant conflict. They also add to the game, by making it fun, and unpredictable. It is a game, right? I am happy suiciding my fleets against Tyrant and Harv, because I think its the right thing to do. I also think supporting Orc is the right thing to do. Personally, I would rather have a reputation for supporting allies, even if that means others think slightly less of us. I don't care about them, I care about the ones who help us and can be relied upon.

Have'nt ORC formily requested assistance in defending against -S- counterattacks? I think they have. And this is just a follow through. I would prefer peace of course to build up, but I wouldnt like for -S- to gather strengh by perching on ORC and bicoming even bigger.
Ok maybe we better split up. Shendemiar continue to coordinate the final blows on Tyrant, and someone take the lead in at least organizing some sort of help to send to ORC (like stonies and resourses). Make another board etc. while its still a red-cross operation and not another war.

I must admit, I agree with Robert. I'm exhausted and need a break. Too many late nights in front of the screen trying to solve problems by talking with imbeciles, aggressive idiots, clever people, nice ones, all sorts. And dealing with a communication overload. I haven't been on the MMU forum for days...
Add to that the state of our formerly big fleets, the number of losses we had in terms of ships and cats. What we need now is a period of peace where we rest, get ourselves organised, draw up some basic plans of how to conduct war, and most importantly rebuild our fleets.
So we should avoid anything that could be taken as hostile at all costs. No harm in letting other alliances do some work now. We don't always have to be at the front-line. For that we're too small.

You move too fast. We are longwinded and slow due to our works and families. When you take the first steps, you reveal our intentions. Rest of the steps must follow quickly or we face failure.
To give out our intentions are easy: Spill out some secrets by mistake, ask wrong questions, talk to wrong people, send few spy ships etc...
The steps after that however need lots of preparation and time, but for success, they must follow quickly and not let the enemy have time to prepare. So, they have to prepared and agreed upon before the first steps. Thats not the case here, and thats what im arguing against.
Once we start, we cannot hold the break between the steps as its Merda! for a strategy, and gives time to the enemy. All the steps must flow quickly to ensure initive and decisiveness. Therefore i ask no-one to give any hints of anything to anybody. That includes spying on enemy that would want to see us killed.
And i have the right to say this, as there really was no-one else to take the helm on Tyrant war. I know these things for sure.
