I think this might have passed by some so I'd like to quote here again
I believe the idea is that Morkin and Affiliate Alliances should pretty much run themselves, but they should run themselves in accordance with similar principles. (Except during big wars, obviously).
...
I disagree with the whole process in the ORC affair. My friends, though with good faith intended, we disrespected Corleth's leadership. As a simile, our behaviour with Corleth was like DIGG towards us...
Is it, or is it not true that we trust in eachother? Do I not trust 2kcastle, Aeros, digital, Sol, let alone Natmus, Arminius and ASHIMAR?? Do we or do we not trust Luxor Staff and KoM staff to resolve alliance issues? Doesn't Corleth's leadership have suficient diplomatic resourses to deal with their troubles?
Ah, but the question arises...do they follow our principals? Well if you think not then you're confusing principals with procedures. Corelth doesnt bully, doesnt pick on new players and is quite peaceful. The major diference is that Corleth does not have the time, or pacience to deal with teenagers and alow me to quote their profile:
People fail to see that Corleth just doesnt have the pacience to talk when they feel threatened. And in the Orc situation Ashimar had all the right in the world to launch an attack! Where they not offended? Didn't the Makari orc mislead them? The only diference between Morkin/Luxor/KoM and Corleth is only the way things are processed. Corelth preferred to shoot first and talk later, and given the situation the "shoot first" part isn't regarded as bulling - the Makari orc WAS dishonest.
So what bothers me the most here, is when various members suddenly jump in and start resolving a matter for another alliance without prior consultance. Next time I'll do just that for Luxor and KoM...I'm sure they might not like it.
If we have diferent alliances with diferent leaderships there must be a reason behind their meaning.
In future I'd like to see a bit more respect and hope that all will follow a simple procedure of allowing each alliance to take precedenc in resolving their small conflicts first. Everyone is allowed to shed light and give ideas to help sort out the problem, and that is what THIS FORUM is for! Not IGM to the enemies, not IK forum, or anyother place. Other admins/diplomats can always OFFER their direct help (which means talking to the opposite party in our favour), and can of course jump in on the action AFTER they get a green light from the alliance's current diplomats already involved.
If we trust in eachother we need to respect that each alliance's leadership is capable of solving the solution rightly, because we all follow the same principal, even if we dont follow the same procedures.
When I refere to giving more autonomy to alliances I'm refering to just that! Each one has capable staff to resolve their issues. We first give the benefit of the doubt to our alliance parties, not to others! If things start getting complicated, I'm sure they'll be the first to ask for other staff to help.
I have no doubt that Corleth, even with Ashimar's attack would have solved the issue without starting a war.

Corleth is a character from the same world as Morkin. A bit older, a bit more tired of it all. A Champion of the Fey in search of as noble cause to give his life for.
...
You may think of us as the slimmed down, less talkative, punishing arm of Morkin.
