Jimbob71 is an exceptional guy. When I was at DIGG, he was always the first to ask "Do you need any help?" whenever an issue was brewing.

Negative. DUGG members were never promoted to DIGG.
It was spawned in February, as a "protectorate" to refer members to who did not meet DIGG qualifications. It has existed as a "protectorate", akin to a little brother, with a Pact to DIGG ever since.
However, in my discussions with jimbob71, they are increasingly moving away from DIGG, and in several months have received nothing more than protection (in spite of offering aid at every DIGG hardship).

This is a way to further tie us to DIGG. I don't trust his motives. I think this could be DIGG's way of feeling us out for our take on this war.

Heard from jimbob again tonight. He's getting intel that a Pantheon strike is on the "near horizon" against DIGG, and is quite nervous. He's afraid his young players are going to get rolled over as a product of their historically close relationship to DIGG.
He asked what the outcome of the Pact request was, and I told him as gently as I could that "There's just not much history of interaction, and I think the general sentiment is they'd like to get to know you guys better before committing to anything".

Well put Clause. If he is as good as a guy you say he is if worse comes to worse we can help him rebuild and possibly recruit him into KoM should DUGG get buried. (Like what I did there?)

JimBob is a real nice guy. He gave me a brief history of DUGG. They were from the wave of members in February who didn't make the cut. Some of them banded together and after a couple months DIGG granted them access. The majority decided to stay in DUGG as they had built a nice bond together.
Recently, Pantheon approached them with a treaty. They seem to be doing this with everyone. This strengthens some suspicions we may have.
Anyways, DUGG is strong in o4 and o24 and can offer us some extra help there. The only issue I have is the competency of the other members. JimBob says he does 90% of the work in the alliance and they really need some good leadership (besides him).
He seems like a great leader and it would be great to have him on our side. If we do eventually decide to drop our current pacts and set a size limit, I think DUGG should at least be a possibility.

Perhaps they could benefit if we loaned them an Admiral for a few weeks?
Not sure if it's worth considering, but if we did decide to pursue further relations with these guys, it could be a great way to instill some goodwill, and foster up their leadership team with some hands-on mentoring.
