If we loaned an Admiral it might be a way of extending our friendship and possibly persuade them to become fully independent of DIGG...plus, we could persuade them for our benefit.

Perhaps they could benefit if we loaned them an Admiral for a few weeks? Not sure if it's worth considering, but if we did decide to pursue further relations with these guys, it could be a great way to instill some goodwill, and foster up their leadership team with some hands-on mentoring. I like this idea. He sort of approached me with that but in the manner of a potential leader. I like the idea of a temporary leader though. Any volunteers?

I wouldn't mind doing it. But, I don't think I can describe myself as having enough experience to deal with a leadership role. But if no one else volunteers, and admins agree...I need something to do.

Maybe float the idea of a liaison going over there, in the external sense only, to see how they run (and report back here on it), provide some gentle mentoring insights, and possibly help identify a few potential leaders to help out jimbob?

I love all our good and active admins and i hate to even think about loaning one ;D
As i see it admi-ning is not so much about the skill but more about will and time you have to sacrifice.
But, its such a good opportunity that we must take it. I'd rather loan one from Luxor.

*shrug* if you want me to poke around their forums, tell them that none of them have armies that are anywhere near up to snuff (regardless of whether they are or not), and that they need to work on teamwork and coordination. That's easy enough.

Random thought, but why not have a liaison go over there to introduce them to the "war games" exercise?
Could be a good way for jimbob to see if he has anyone with coordination capabilities, and if it lets any future leadership emerge.
Other random thoughts: 1. See what kind of volume of "work" is being done, and how it is being shared. Perhaps they lack even a simple "government" structure? (i.e., a guy to handle diplomacy, a guy to handle warfighting coordination, a guy to handle tools, etc) 2. See what kind of player activity they have, and if jimbob is taking on everything merely because there is nobody else active enough to help.

They've asked for a peace treaty. I'm thinking we should do what we did with D|D and add DUGG to the friends list on the the Morkin front page.
So Kae it is?
