I had two 32-ouncers of Hardcore Cider, a few bottles of Miller High Life, several Captain Morgan & Coke's, and another 32-ouncer of something cannot recall. I proceeded to cover her bathroom in a layer of puke. Woke up the next day feeling like Hell, and we've been together ever since

Thats quite a lot... I used to be able to take a lot too... but not anymore. Lack of practice i think.

Whoa, hang on, that needs to be cleared up. Clause, going on about things he clearly doesn't remember. :-)
That is not when we got together, that was months before, officially like 3 months before, but in reality, 6-7 months previous to the occasion that he is referencing. That was the night before he met my family for the first time. He started off with a tall hardcore cider, then an ace pear cider, then another tall killians, then another tall newcastle. A shot bought by one of my co-workers was given to him because of a bar mistake, then we proceeded somewhere else where he had a couple captain and cokes. He then claimed not to be drunk, but then passed out in bed about 2 minutes after getting home. I woke at 6 with him dashing out of bed. He came back later saying that he puked, but cleaned it up.
He tried to drive the 3 hours trip to my folks house, but had to stop 20 minutes into the drive, so he could stop at a gas station and puke some more. I proceeded to drive the rest of the trip with him passed out and snoring in the passenger seat next to me. We had to stop at a gas station near my parents home so he could make himself 'pretty' for my mom and dad. Somehow hungover and pukey, he still managed to make my dad love him. My mom, well she's still on the fence, afterall, he did get her baby to move 1200 miles from home. :-)
Oh, and when we got back to my house, my roommates told me there was puke in the bathroom, and I had to clean it off the walls and floor.

btw, for as much crap as I give clause on here, I hope everyone realizes I'm just kidding. He's an amazing guy, and I'm lucky to have him. We just enjoy giving each other a hard time, and act like kids sometimes. Geez, we still have water-gun fights in our home.

I never get hangovers.
I prefer spirits myself as I have a very sweet tooth, stuff like Amaretto and Baileys is probably my favourite.
Faily that sweet white wine is good, usually German ones like Auslese/Spatslese or a good Moscatel.
Failing that sweet cider is OK.
Since we've had children I don't drink often or very much, my most interesting drinking tale is probably when I went to my uncles 21st party, I was about 12 years old.
My cousin kept pouring me glasses of (sweet) sherry to drink, I thought he was also drinking the bottle so I just kept drinking what I was given. I found out later on he'd not been drinking his share so I ended up drinking the entire bottle and was very ill.
I tried to do a cartwheel down the stairs and my mother had to give me salt water to drink to make me sick so i could sober up as we had to take a taxi home and she didn't want me being sick in it!
The salt water worked well, a good remedy if a little harsh!

I get really bad 24 hour hangovers.
At uni I could easily down a bottle of gin however I'd wake up with the taste of Gin in my mouth which isn't pleasant.
My usual tipple of choice is Ginger Beer, real ginger beer that is not the soft drink. We have a micro brewery near us which brews all its own stuff which is just fantastic.
I drink Sambuca white or black if I want to forget the night.
I rarely puke now, I think my stomachs become used to the fact that my body is made of 75% water and 20% alcohol, the rest is for none vital stuff like kidneys and livers.

I stopped excessive drinking (not that I ever did do much of it in the first place). Feeling miserable the next day is just no fun. These days I usually just have a single beer in the evening if at all. Or perhaps a glass of wine. Very rarely something stronger. For example a French beer called Ch'ti, or Belgian Leffe (that's the only Belgian beer I'm prepared to drink).
Just as David said, having kids lowers your tolerance for alcohol. And you cannot get completely p*ssed if you need to look after the little ones.

Now that I'm not at uni I'm the exact way. I have a few beers in the evening but nothing excessive.
Leffe is quite nice at least the light stuff is, didn't really care for the darker stuff.

I've hardly been drinking more than when I started at uni. Next week we'll have an introduction tour for the new students, and I expect to be drunk 24/7 for 5 days. I drink all kinds of beer, and almost all kind of spirits. I've considered my alcoholic tendencies more than once, but I don't expect much will change before I'm done with uni.

I have never been much of a drinker. My wife gets Smirnoff Ice for me and those are good but any more than 4 and the next morning my head is split in half. Light beer I can drink all day if its warm out.

Me and Ruku have drunk plenty on a night out in town.
5 pints of Fosters, 6 apple sour shots and 6 after shocks. Throw in 2 absynthe and we managed all of that by about 9:30pm on my girlfriends birthday.
Work up feeling happy as larry and went out again next night I think (check with ruku).
New years eve one time I got absolutely smashed with my dad. I was about 16 and he took me out for my first night drinking with his mates, me and his mate ended up falling over a jukebox and knocking down a shelf with about 20+ drinks on it.
That night I had drunk about:
7 jack daniels and coke. 2-3 JD and lemonade. 2-3 Pints of Fosters A few shots of sambuca here and there through out the night. Next day once again I was wide awake at about 9am feeling great while my dad was asleep in the bathroom where he passed out the night before.
I must just be one of the lucky ones who are immune to hangovers.
