Wouldnt think any less of you mate if you asked me to get you a malibu and coke. Your right its expensive though, not so bad in lloyds and spoons but hit walkabout or livingstones and that gonna set you back 4quid easy. I have been known to get one of my female housemates to buy me one if I give her the money Place in York does Triple Malibu and Cokes or Triple Vodka and Vimto for about £2.50 on a week night. The best thing is that the place that sells them is just across the road from the best student night out (free entry and drinks are pretty cheap, ie. pint of fosters = £2 all night).

Fosters?!?!?
You blokes are right on the doorstep of Ireland and Germany's famed breweries, a hop and skip away from Belguim's fine brews, and you're drinking Australian dingo piss?
Man, some people just don't know how good they have it...

We rarely get any decent imports, even Guiness (apparently) isn't as nice as it is in Ireland.
The only decent German or Austrian beer on tap over here is Erdinger but even that is nothing compared to Edelweiss and Franciskaner you get in Austria. We also get Fruhle (sp?) on tap in some places but its really expensive.

I'm disillusioned 300 years of colonial greatness, and you couldn't manage to land cheap imports out of the deal? What was the purpose of sending waves of Protestants to sew discord in Ireland, if not to establish pipelines into British pubs of glorious ale?

Exactly the same stuff as is here, pure myth I like fosters, like carslberg. Tbh I drink any beer. Looking forward to getting paid so I can goto the pub ruku and digital always talking about

Haha we've been talking about going out for ages! Not sure about ruku though, he's just got another 2 weeks off for his bad aids.
Sorry to disappoint Clause but 300 years and look where we are now, the empire does not exist and beer is appalling in the UK.

With Britain being the world capital of tea and all, how do you guys prepare it, anyways? The old-school tea kettle?
When I do have a cup from time to time, it's just a microwaved mug of hot water with a Lipton bag dropped in...

Earl Grey is lovely.
Green Tea is also really nice, being drinking alot of that lately.
Aqua Vitae, I know its a spirit. Like sherry or something thats being distilled a few times.
Sherry, Brandy, Whiskey something like that. Can't remember :S
How ever I could be completely along the wrong lines.
/edit
Noticed you had Aqua Vita not Vitae so not sure if we on about same thing.

Boil the kettle, add teabag to a mug/cup with sugar (if thats to you liking), add boiling water into the mug/cup, let it brew (according to yorkshire tea, 5 minutes is optimum brewing time), after brew add milk and then last of all drink I had to look for aqua vitae : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqua_vitaeThats all I could find :S
