As you know, a member of another alliance has colonized a planet in the Midnight quadrant. We have not publicly stated that we have a position on this, but several members of Midnight appear to want to make a response.
The details are:
RSR Planet 001:02:4:30 Emperor Ming 2 800 125162
The planet will not be protected for much longer and the question is, what do we want to do?

Use it as a combat test? Are we being the bad guys? In other words do we want to start a war? I'm not bothered either way really, as long as we win!

Yes, let us ask him to do that. It is a security issue, since by having a planet in a quadrant, much more information is available.

Is he alone or a member of some other alliance? I cannot see his details in "your" quadrant.

He/She is in "RSR". They are 4th with 3 members. Quite high scoring.
I say we all send Vampires and leech the resources out of it. Free cash for us frankly. Give it a couple of days and pre empt. Lets be baaaad for once!

The planet's score hasn't moved for a while now. It looks like a definite spying tool. Shall we make contact before the blitz, or just do it?

Personally, I am all for just doing it and seeing what happens...

Trying to figure out from the manual. If I send shadows with the vampire, will they attack the planet? Ideally I'd want the Vamp to sit there and leech to its hearts content. I don't know if I'm reading it right or not. Don't mind being in trouble as long as I know its going to happen!

Will there be much to leech? A score 800 planet doesn't need a Vampire - a large sponge would do the trick!

All right Gareth. You can send your vampire if I can send some of my nice shiny ships!
