Wouldn't he look better as a black dragon?

And fight like a keep? (okay, I'll drop the spitting flame idea...)

What, you mean sit around doing nothing as people hurl rocks at you and batter you with wooden rams? Odd way for a dragon to fight! As I've already said, Dragons ARE stronger in new version, but will require testing to see whether they are strong enough

As I've already said, Dragons ARE stronger in new version, but will require testing to see whether they are strong enough Depends on if they are strong enough to attack an army and have something like a 90 percent chance of surviving. The current problem with Dragons is that they are much too easy to kill if found by an enemy.

OK, OK. You all win I will make them harder to kill, but will reduce their range slightly. I will need to add dragons to the SE and SW quadrants somewhere too to make it fairer for those starting in South of map. Maybe move Amarin out of his henge. BTW, the new Xuratoth gfx is uploaded and all games now use it. See if you like it. Any suggestions for new dragons' name?

I can confirm visual contact: As for names, what type of names are you looking for? Tolkien-clones, Norse mythology, Chinese dragons?

Please make one of the newbies a Wolf Lord, or a Troll Lord. With a wolfpack. Like, 50. As for the dragon... hmm... Aarh the Swordbreaker.

I was thinking of a wolf pack, funnily enough, but it would need a contribution from our friend Iggy, and I think that he's quite busy. Can't really use the existing army gfx, as I can't really picture a wolf carrying shield and pennant! Also, they (for I would have > 1 of course!) would be positioned randomly each game, probably in forests, maybe mountains too. I envisage them having no movement penalty in forests (as per fey), slighlty higher range than horses, attack bonus vs cavalry, but negative bonus vs warriors. Natmus, I don't mind what the name is, as long as it's not a swear word in another language!!! Personally, I like the name "Bubbles the Fluffy"

Wolf:
Kahg of the Fang Rah the Ensnarer Yip the Grey
LOVE the random deployment idea. Could be the same for the current Dragons, even old 'flame?

Well, it would be new code, and a new table to hold the StartRandom flag against the lords, on per game scenario.
ie, scenarios (not the current "Scenarios" which are really Victory Conditions and will be changed in the next release accordingly) could cater for "Standard" (as now), "Minor scattering " (Some Lords eg dragons and skulkrin, or any other that would be good), and "All scattered" (does as it says on the tin)
Good huh?

All scattered is sheer lunacy. I like it.

Gold, Bronze, Green or even Blue.

What about only three dragons per game, but randomly from a bag of eight or so, varying in colour and name? No: five meanies, like, there's eight dragons, two wolves, two skulkrin and three trolls in the bag. Take a random five and voila?
