It seems the map will have to be enlarged as well.

Yeah - now will The Creator add some extra spaces, a down here, some plains there, enlarging the existing sites, or are we oging to see for example a whole new Western range?

Would be fun. Mountains and a pass and then plains. See David Gemmell's Legend for an example ;D And female Targ, lots of female Targ.

NW is the logical place for some more Lords. Rathrorn or Ithril come to mind.

But NW starts, in my experience, give good development (even when I started at the ruin in the domain of Gloom, the opponent has, of all the Foul, only beaten me to Gorgrath). I see more of a problem with SW and especially SE, with all those mountain ranges and lords quite far apart.

SW isn't too bad, unless NW is towards the centre. But I agree that SE is pretty sparse Lordswise.

Yes, SW is OK if you can be at Moon and Gorgrath on time. I have a bad experience (Four Corners) and a good one (Levelling the Land).

Funny, I thought I was having a bad NE experience in Four Corners!? Who has all the allies? I don't mind SW. Started Midnight in Texas near Gard and headed North to recruit CVBN and from there played the classic LoM recruiting game.
