Use my fleet as you want. That's why we are building it anyway!

Thanks to all parties involved. I'll setup a series of attacks later this day, including a colonyship heading for Coral Cove.
I noticed too that his ocean 14 colony had changed owner. It was that colony that I hit during the E~L war by the way, it was not much.

Sorry guys and gal, but I haven't gotten round to any warplanning yesterday. As it turned out I had to care for my babydaughter all by myself and that basically meant the computer was on the entire day, with many browserwindows open, but very little time was actually spent sitting down there.
Therefore, no attacks sofar on my part nor any of the accounts handed over to me for coordination. Yes, it's bad. On the flipside, my daughter is still happy and Donkey isn't going anywhere.
To Raven: yes, I still want it, I think.
To Natmus: sure, join in.
To MMU-Patton: No, I think you'd better continue buildup and aren't you too far away ?

Okay, to start with, a softening up attack on Diesal Isle 13:64:21, courtesy of Andre who I suspect of inactivity. If not, sorry Andre ;D
Now this needs to be followed up by another attack, one of my ocean 13 colonies perhaps.
And I take it Mads will launch big time on this isle ?
Then the attack on Donkey's main isle Booty Bay 13:73:4
I used Marios' fleet to soften up the defenses:
Which needs to be followed up by a second wave of possibly Hilander, arriving roughly one hour later (okay, make that 2 hours - I hate timings, I hate it) :
then my main fleet targeting wall and all minus a colonizationfleet destined for Coral Cove 13:63:25
As usual timing it is a pregnant dog. The main attackfleet for Booty Bay I need to launch at 17:00 today (GMT+1), I have to set a bloody alarm for that...
Followed by Raven targeting with three equal waves with cats the storehouse, barracks and goldmine
And then Shirak's forces split into two equal waves with cats targeting watchtower and harbour:
Hmmm, just look at that traveltime.... just look at that foul up.... scheisse.
And then
I'm thinking Henning could still get in to target either Diesal Isle or Booty Bay (main house)
**this post is under construction**

Yup, I have 5 scouts underway to have a look-see, and then I'll launch as much it takes to take out what's there, and prepare it for whoever is colonising it.

As I once aghain managed to Chiavata! up my timings, I will have to send another suicide fleet, this time from Zerin Eldest-born, to arrive just before SoulCatcher's does to take away at least remaining defenders. The wall will still be in place though until one hour afterwards. Sorry Phil.

Does this mean that I'm going to lose my entire fleet that has taken 6 months to build ?

The scouts just reported back from Donkey's Diesal Isle (13:64:21), and the tidings were grim:
2250 spears! Ouch!
The thing is, we can take it, but will it be worth it? If we assume that our losses taking out the 2250 spears will be roughly equal, how long will it take to rebuild those forces even with an extra isle to produce? 1 month? 2?

Does this mean that I'm going to lose my entire fleet that has taken 6 months to build ? Well, no, not after the following three countermeasures I've taken, but you still got three 124 LW, 60 cat, undermanned fleets going up against a wall level 20 while not targetiing that wall, so yeah, there are going to be losses I suspect for which I apologize. Just like you, I also hate to loose any ships, let alone a substantial portion of it with cats and all, but...that in itself is the sole reason why engaging with R|M in their war would have been even worse: you would loose all including your islands. My fleet would survive but at half it's size perhaps. I'd hate that, however, war is expensive and it is a wargame. If we ascertain that we cannot even attack this moron because his defenses are much higher than most morons keep them, then how can we possibly hope to do battle against better organized alliances than E~L ? We should put in our manifest that this is a building and conserving only alliance. I don't mean to sound harsh or whatever now, I too like to conserve my precious fleet, but...this remark opened up the core problem we now face. We can deal with and for the most part are eager to deal with smaller or disorganized foes, but the moment it becomes apparent our own existence is compromised by a certain action, we are shocked and back down. That goes for me as well. I'd liked to preserve my fleet for the day that it will be necessary to have the biggest fleet Morkin has ever seen. To that end I'd rather have smaller players suicide these isles than me, for it's in superior numbers that our hope lies. What use is if when we all got mediocre fleets ? But is it fair ? No, it isn't. And I definitely plead guilty to that. But now that I see that others got the same worries, I thought of addressing it in public. Henning, you are eager to use that fleet and go into battle, but what about if I were to tell you you can hit this or that but your fleets and cats wouldn't return, or most likely they wouldn't. How eager would you then still be ? It's just an example and I pick Henning also as an example. It could apply to you too, Phil. What if I hadn't sent that fleet and you would have done it yourself instead. Most likely you would never have split it up and perhaps would you neither have decided to leave more men on your main isle, as I now did, your losses would be smaller I think and that that will be different now is indeed my fault, for which I apologize. But it would have been a perfectly good idea if my main fleet had arrived ahead of yours instead of behind you. Mistakes are made. As to what Mads said, the scouting outcome was to be expected, not ? Diesal isle is a copy of Coral Cove which Frei already cleared. Is it worth the losses ? I would say in the short term nothing is worth the losses or disadvantages, not even giving away cats and stoners in support of R|M. But I have this hoarding streak and get nervous when someone brings that up, although it's morally the right thing to do. Of course. So, I shouldn't say anything But coming back to the colonies, now is the best chance to get a morally justified colony and in the long run it will prove an asset that will overcome the current losses. It is only a pity not everyone benefits from those colonies and still some loose stuff over it. I just thought it was typical and showed painfully our current dilemma. So, I hope that at least will take care of all soldiers. I don't have cats anymore based outside my main isle. This is were that proves highly unfortunate. Alea iacta est.
