[PWS] Peace?

mrpink just (21:00) stole Mitharg from Inyati, this is not legitimate as the travel time for colony ships is under two hours. What are we doing about it?

On a slightly different note, mrpink has already broken our peace treaty and stolen a colony (Mitharg) by one of our players. Can he give it back, please? Otherwise we'll attack him and take it by force.

PS: The attack was apparently sent *after* our peace treaty, and could have been recalled.

So shall we wait until we hear about compensation offers? Maybe inyati would like to suggest to mrpink a suitable payment? I should think he should supply you with the materials to build a col-ship to re-take the colony...

OK, we can come to an arrangement without further embarrasment, if you agree to the following:

1. You vacate the colony immediately and pay me for a new colony ship to take it back, as you know this amounts to 35,000 gold and 30,000 lumber.

I wont ask for compensation for the lost ships etc from the initial attack as a gesture of goodwill.

eternitycode has already been made aware of this situation and has agreed that we can take back the isle and will arrange compensation. I don't mind who pays me for the new colony ship as long as the payment is prompt.

Unfortunatly you are mistaken. Peace Treaty was estabelished one day before you launched your colonyship. You can check that with your administrators. By persisting you are just giving us a valid "causi belli".
Its late and I´ll await till tomorrow afternoon 12:00pm GMT for your final decision. If I dont get an afirmitive response from you, we will get the colony back, and will consider the plunder from your other islands as valid compensation.
I agree this is a war game, and we all are mostly warmongers. But there are also theifs amongst us. I do hope I´m not dealing with one.

The benefit for him giving back the colony is that we wont level all his islands, or take one of his back by force.

Give him an ultimatum and time frame to comply by, if this isn't resolved within say 24 hours we strike.

He must have been kicked off the aliance. He now belongs to a self made aliance named [uncivil].

I'm going to be on IK at lunchtime as I'm currently back at work, someone give me a target or two by then and I launch.

I've my kamikaze fleet still (100 sws, 200 STs no cats) and my main fleet which is still rebuilding, around 125 LWs, 600 Archers, 15 Cats etc.

Worth a new thread, we can really go to town on this miscreant!

1. War is not nice indeed, he's going to find out exactly how unpleasant it can be.

2. IK is a wargame, but it also involves diplomacy, hence we have alliances and a message facility.

3. There are rules which must be obeyed and then there are rules which should be obeyed, like when the alliance you decide to join agrees to peace.

We need to keep tabs on E~L and the rest as I suspect they will want revenge at some stage, using the current peace to build up forces.
