The problem I see with that is that you would then roam the lands with a full sized army of 2500 and a dragon/wise combo. This would be almost invulnerable as the defending escort would take 2-3 days to whittle away during which time the wise and/or dargon could completely wipe out an enemy force that is much larger than the escort. This could lead to players having to ensure that they always keep their lords in strong units of say 4 or 5 large armies, and the dispersed hit-and-run tactics that some people like would be less useful.
But I could make them less vulnerable to being killed irrespective of army presence, maybe giving them another 25-50% chance of survival?

Is it not possible to simply increase their energy rating? Isn't that the sole measure by which it is decided if a lord is killed or remains alive?

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of increasing their survival chances when with an escort, not making them invulnerable. Perhaps tied in with the size of the remaining escort in men, so that whittling down the escort actually increases the chances of the dragon/Wise receiving a death-blow. You could always cap the defensive bonus, so that the dragons/Wise never become completely invulnerable, no matter how big their escort is.

I would also like to point out that my dragons have been killing an average of 80-110 troops per day of battle. And my wise have killed 15-25 per day. That seems well within low limits and not out of control. So even if they were very very hard to kill in a group of armies they don't seem to tip the tides of battle very much at all.

Chances are that four dragons, for exampls, could inflict 200 kills on each of a band of, say, ten lords, times hmm three turns before they got killed. That's 6 thousand men...

It could happen in newbie vs experienced scenario, but otherwise unlikely!

No, the number is calculated and split between the number of enemies present, so 200/10 = 20 per lord Then either Zerin can kill upwards of 800 men per turn, or it doesn't work as you want it to. I have asked Andrea to copy Zerin's battle report to show what I mean, but to me at least it seems that Dragons have a full lord-attack against each foe with Dragon powers in the stroke. I have commited my own last worm to check, but it will die, I fear.

Fernando, there is NO way a single player can get all 4 dragons (there's 4?). It happened in 21 - Adrenaline. The four dragons were amongst the 43 lords in my alliance. Admittedly, the Unbeliever should have had Farflame, but for some reason never bothered to collect him. Neither of us wanted the two skulkrin. ;D

When I crossed the imaginary Tropic of Capricorn in this game, Bill already had 76 lords... All I could do was amass those 15000 riders in the special Keep in the domain of Light, the one with double armor, to try and beat him...

The game is still live, I can always post the bottom of the "Allies" report or J-Y could easily confirm it if you don't believe me.
