In a battle against Shimeril, Martolax, accompanied by Brith and Xajorkith, slew 105 riders, but was slain in the process.

I already suggested in 0.1f that the dragons and wises should be much powerfull in battle than ordinary lords but also to remain alive if accomapnied with lords which have armies. Only that can make of them powerfull weapon rather than 1-time used and be killed. Of course i agree if they are alone or accompanied with lords without armies they are mortals like all mortals..

So? Do you think it was worth it? I had Shimeril. I don't think it was worth it.

Nono not that! Amazingly, my Zerin inflicted 77+69+121+109+91 losses on Mads' armies... in a single turn I reckon So Dragon behavior must be affected by smt like PMS rather than energy or courage ;D

One turn against two armies, and one against three. I was a bit annoyed that he survived the first round, that delay may have have cost me a lord or two in the SE corner. Still, the Worm is wormfood now, so everything is well again. And in the end my losses are offset by an Utarg and 1500 Targ riders. And that's the last comment from me about any game in this thread. Didn't mean to Thread Pollute like certain other individuals, but it had some relevance for the ongoing discussion, at least. If not, I apologise

Well, paint my nipples and call me Rita! I just had a Worm survive a real battle. Farflame attacked a medium sized enemy army together with two friendly medium sized armies, and between them they managed to wipe the enemy out, which must be why Farflame survived. Even so, he killed 89 riders and 100 warriors, and without him the enemy most likely would have survived and gotten away.

The enemy *did* get away... depleted, but alive...

The enemy *did* get away... depleted, but alive... We are talking about Ul-Arath? At Farflames report he is listed as 'Died', not 'Slain'... The formatting may be off below, but this is what is says: You attacked: Casualties inflicted by you: Foe Lord R Lord W Rider R Rider W Warrior R Warrior W Lord ulartath 89 100 0 0 0 0 Lives Attacked by: Casualties inflicted on you: Foe Lord R Lord W Rider R Rider W Warrior R Warrior W You ulartath 0 0 0 0 0 0 Died

It means, old boy, that Muhaha killed Farflame... Then somebody forgot to tell Farflame that, because he is still roaming the plains of Kor, spying on your forces and looking for an easy victim He doesn't show up as dead anywhere. Worms have extra lives now?

I accidentely posted my comments on a new thread in Suggestions, so oops! I would also like to see wise and dragons have a much much higher survivability in battles with supporting troops but they should get their butts kicked if alone.
