As part of the next release, there will be a few more lords, all female.
Please could you list where you think that they need to be. eg Plains of Rorath, plains of Trorn? etc...
Thanks.

The keep of Ishmalay could be one, or the southernly of the keeps in the domain of Brith, the one just north of the icy wastes.
Keep of the Moon (Lex's sister?), The keep of Dawn, the Keep of Marakith, either one of these three would make those movements east to west or west to east more pleasant.
As for Foul, the easternmost keep in the domain of Valethor, or one of the two most southern keeps on the plains of Kor between the forests of Kor and Dreams. And a female Foul in the village of Korkith would be fun.
Also, near Dreams, how about the Keep of Ithril?
But please, no female Targ! OK?

Please could you list where you think that they need to be. eg Plains of Rorath, plains of Trorn? etc... - Keep in the domain of Glorim (18,15)
- Keep of Odrark (27,56)
- Keep of Marakith (36,35)
- Keep of Kor (32,24)
- Keep of Ithril (53,14)
note: coordinates start at (1,1) It's getting kinda crowded, isn't it? Maybe a map expansion to, say, 96x96 is a next logical step ?

More in the north-west! I've just run into enemies after starting there and only having two usable lords...

You're right, I have had some problems starting there in the upper NW corner as well. OTOH a start in the NW quadrant, but closer to the middle and all the nice Foul lords means a good chance to win the game. In general I think the closer you start to the very middle of the map, the better I think your chances are.

Keep of Ishmalay and/or Odrak were already on my target list, so good to have that confirmed. Had not considered the NW, so will do so. Is the SE corner not a problem then? Never started there myself, but people never seem too pleased with it! Incidentally, as with the Citadel of the Moon, we are not retsricted to existing terrain, and indeed a few minor additions/changes have already been made...

Is the SE corner not a problem then? Never started there myself, but people never seem too pleased with it! SE can be a problem, depending on wher you start. Layout of mountains, hills and forest make movement restricted to certain lanes, and I have several times experienced difficulties breaking out to recruit in other quadrants, which is vital to winning. There seems to be a limit running roughly around Corelay, From Thimrath to Morning to Dawn and then either to Dregrim or Trorn/Flowers that is a natual border for a player starting a 3 or 4 player game somewhere in Corelay. Rorath is dubious to get, Shimeril almost impossible, Marakith difficult and Utarg and Kumar uncertain at best. (And for an example on how unlucky the SE corner can be, check out my forces in The Bard's Breeches, JY. Oh, you already have done that? :-) ) As for ideas on how to ease the breakout from Corelay, I'm drawing a blank for the moment.

Well, Rothrorn came to visit the Citadel of Dawn recently so yes I do know, and I assume from what you are saying that you have no others? In which case I think that a new lord or two are required in the Trorn/Corelay domains.

Put Lady Xajorkith in the Citadel, together with the lord (like Doomdark and the Hand). That will give the ability to expand in all three directions to someone starting in the southern Corelay.

Not a bad idea at all. Incidentally, I have implemented user-selectable recruitment modes when starting new games (ie Night, Dawn, Same hours as recruited). Should make for some interesting variations

Haven't really played enough games to have a very informed opinion (and I still don't know where some of the last bunch of new lords can be found).
Having said that, I'll add my vote for someone in the NW, or an increase in troops for either Ogrim or the Fool.
Elsewhere, southern Brith is a good candidate - though I'd keep it away from the wastes because Rorath and Thimrath are already in the far south, and Kathryn, Xajorkith and Flowers aren't far off.
If not southern Brith, then the Keep of the Moon.
The other location that stands out is the easternmost keep in Valethor, just at the exit from the pass.

Put someone at the ruin in the domain of Gloom. I started there once, and even Fernando managed to beat me in that game IIRC.
