Well Mads, you could at least have taken the interesting route down from Korkith: via the Plains of Blood! As for Matija, I've scouted his forces, and I can assure you that his claims of feebleness are utter bollox. He has retired back to Shimeril though. Why get involved when we're going to annihilate each other for him anyway? I think we have comparable forces overall, give or take an army or three. Anyone who avoids the fighting will win the game.

Actually, I never advanced. What you probably saw was shimeril returning home after spending an eternity at a lake, trying to get his energy back.
I must also admit I never scouted your forces, but I dare say both of you have more soldiers than me.

Why don't all three of us, with all our armies, meet somewhere and have it out.

If my clever secret plan to capture and crush Celebaglar's Foul armies at Kumar fails, I'm all in favour of it

Well, I didn't catch Celebungler's Foul armies at Kumar. For some strange reson they seem to have left the area. Anyway, this game looked like a draw, with Matija heading NW from the plains of Blood, where there were absolutely no opponents for him to fight

I agree that this was only heading for a draw anyway.
I was stuck at Dawn due to having more garrisoned men than I could take with me - thanks to someone killing off Dawn early on, and so I'd have to fight at Dawn or nowhere else, given how close the numbers are between all of us.
As for the retreat from Kumar, that was always on the cards. Lorgrim had been scouting the area and knew where my armies were, so I knew waiting around too long would be bad news, and my Foul are not a contingent I can resupply.
