Did I mention that he wiped out my entire army?

Yes, I was aware of your approach, but the opportunity to finish R was just too good to miss. However, my tired armies are giving you a fair chance to win, I guess.

Yes, I was aware of your approach, but the opportunity to finish R was just too good to miss. He is a very tempting target, isn't he? ;D Anyway, I've launched my bid to topple the Dark Lord. Let us see what the bloody hand of battle brings tomorrow...

Well, I finally blew it. I pressed End Turn and confirmed it, when I just wanted to Night a lord, having only half-done my turn. I will resign next time.

Yeah, well, that will not be for the next two weeks, as J-Y is away that long, at least. Maybe you can think of a way to salvage the situation meanwhile. Apart from that, how did you like our little manouver on the plains of Kor? J-Y going for your tired main force and my auxilliary corps going for your line of retreat and your reinforcements? I didn't like it at all. But your catching Ul-Artath was not that crucial, since my main reinforcmets (4 armies IIRC) went through the Forest of Dreams to remain unobserved, so not to scare away JY. There is not much to salvage, I'm afraid - everybody after Rachel remained in the battle with JY, heavily outnumbered and, I suppose, got slaughtered. And I can't win without those troops.

Most survived, but at great cost. Mind you, my troops are pretty knackered now too. Fortunately I had old Xaj bringing up the rearguard and he will pitch in tomorrow with relatively fresh troops...
If you have anything lurking around that I am not aware of (Fawkrin just won't be of much use I'm afraid!), then you still have a chance.

I took a really good look, and the situation was hopeless. My king needed those troops to survive, being too exausted to meet with reinforcements in a next day or two.
And even with the reinforcements I could bring into battle in the next few days, you'd probably still have the upper hand in numbers.

Good game gentlemen, if a little bizarre!
Ringy, you did a splendid job of keeping the Dark Lord busy whilst us soft southerners marched north.
Out of interest Matija, what was your game plan once you knew that the three of us were ganging up on you?

Mads, shall I resign this game so that it turns "inactive"? I presume that you don't now want to turn on an old friend now that the Evil Empire has been destroyed?
