WTF?
I think DBS was before my time on IK, can someone explain it to me.
Were those quotes from Clause? ergo he was posting intel about morkin to digg?
Sorry if I seem a bit thick but I'm way out of touch with the history of IK and its goings on.

That's a very large piece of misinformation with only a very little bit of truth inserted. There is false leads all over the place, and not much evidence in any direction.
But the problem is that it has anything at all has been leaked, first to Clause, and then onwards from him. Luckily the story is so garbled that it makes no sense at all.
In every case, instead of either shunning Clause or declaring a 'fatwah' on him, we should just be extremly careful not to give him any sensitive information in the future. I'm not going to waste ships on him or anybody else before the gathering storm lands on us.

Sol has had the feeling Clausewitz might be a doublespy almost as long as I had. When she and I got to talk about her wanting to suicide on something and me being so sick and tired of the game in general it turned out we were both suspecting of Ryan. So, combining that with the official IK forum thread about it, Sol's questions now make perfect sense to me.

What always pulls me through in distressful times is to watch this Dutch television commercial for "Cup-a-soup" (it's subtitled in English, don't worry). Do watch this a couple of times, it gets even better when you start to notice meaningful facial expressions, mannerisms and sheer ludicracy. There are a whole bunch in this series of "Cup-a-soup" but this one, dating back to 2002, surely must be the best. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxPzFe0D730&NR=1And if you think, can this be done on our national television, or this is just a little bit too much of Dutch humour, take a look at some of the others (no subtitling though): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRYPyl-yoyEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=dViC5Mv6bgcwww.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj33sOMv2nEwww.youtube.com/watch?v=0Nf7nFIaDvMwww.youtube.com/watch?v=umnQALZ8M_Mwww.youtube.com/watch?v=w460CwonslIDifferent, about an insurance company (work disability insurance), but also fun in a way: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmkXmE9XGecwww.youtube.com/watch?v=rNjSnaWE2REwww.youtube.com/watch?v=gR7VlFgy5pcAnd beer. Not so much hilarious, although... www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcT93NZQ8wEAnd now onward with deceat, the war and the inequities of evil man...

(I already posted to this but deleted my post when I read Shen's reply to Dalf because I felt as if I jumped the gun a bit.)
Still, two questions;
What's the deal with bin_man?
Should we/could we rescue Sol? I don't think we can or should take her back and I'm fairly sure she'll end up in Pantheon and fighting Digg if she should survive.

I have no idea about the bin_man part. Maybe we should ask?
I've already written to Digg about Sol:
And i'd like to know what you wrote? If you jumped the gun at me i don't mind or get offended if you tell it, but instead it might help me to understand this all better.

I think the bin_man reference is really important as well - it may have been taken out of context, but hey, that bit sounded like Ryan was behind part of the Orc attack on us.

Kudos on the letter to Digg. Nicely put.
I think you read the post as you seemed to repy to the bin_man part.
When I "jumped the gun" I hadn't said anything contoversial or even anyhing important. I merely didn't think before posting and started to second guess myself immediatley especially in light of your reply.
After reading the Dalf post it seemed like my post of yesterday (the Clause "wants to be all things to all people" one) seemed way off base.
Now it seems like it was largely correct, except perhaps in the actual scale of his narcissism.
Even at this point there may be more to come out on the Clause thing, so I'm going to wait a while before posting any more Grand Theories of Clauzewitz.

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Marvelous, absolutly marvelous!! And let me take this time to add that I'm very proud of this alliance. Something like this could tear a younger alliance to pieces (which could have been the intention, or not - but thats not the point), but we stoop our ground together, and keeped a cold mind when they went renegade.
Theres a big diference between an IK experient player like Clause, and an IK experient player who's played IK for 4 years. I'm happy that we have a big base of players that are in the latter.

I've always been a bit unsure what to make of Clause, he wanted to come to Morkin for a nice quiet retirement and then spammed our boards more than the_noob (admittedly with good stuff) and then took on the Admiral role.
I confronted him in a IGM asking if he would fight against his old DIGG if it came to it and his reply was quite indignant, maybe too indignant.
I don't have the message any more though, pity.

Yes, I too thought he was rather eager and keen... But not knowing how strongly he was attached to Digg before I was unsure about any judgements.
