Change of tactics

Okay... its been discussed and we've decided to put on steam... a little.

Everyone not involved yet in the fighting, pick one isle, and announce it in appropriate thread.

The intention is to take it during 24th or 25th

• Spy it and few others, constantly all they way though the process.
  
• Clear it with multiple fleets (30%-50% of the defending force is nice clearing fleet) with fake fleets along them.
  
• Colo it. Fleet with multiple Coloships and lot of strenght is best.
  
• Be ready to stoner drop it massively the minute you have it. He lacks power to take them back.
  
• Don't leave the attacking isles vunerable to him, orc or anyone else for that matter.
  
• Be ready to retake the taken isle if he manages to take it back. And to re-stoner-drop it. In this game he exhausts first. He rans out of coloships first. Be pationt be cool. In any case don't overextend yourselves.
  
• Send similiar fake volleys to other isles. Including coloships if you have extra to spare.
  
• Recruit members further to suicide.
  
• Reserve time for planning, reserve time for regular checkups of your account. Reserve time for setbacks. Have reserve in every way.

Just hang on a sec... Dalfiatach has come up with a superb idea about how to deal with Rahein.

But we still need people to take up responsibilities in planning and coordination, especialy to go with Dalfiatach's plan.

Raheins isle concentration (out of date by a couple of days) is below with a way to targets up, teams would be split slightly differently to accomodate for our own distribution which favours the oldest oceans. Personally I think the best strategy would be to start with the red sector - this is where we're stronger and he can't attack us from behind. At the same time we get our smaller members in the far NE to care care of whole oceans of green simultaneously. Once Rahein starts either seriously trying to counter attack us from the lower regions (main o43) or starts to lose moral we ask our southern inhabitants (row 31, 32, 33, 34 and below) to hit back at the o43 and o52 strongholds.

Added; oh and this isn't Dalfiatachs idea I don't think. This is just something I thought of when looking at a map of his isles.

Gah, im 40 hrs away, we are the 25th, and I havent launched anything yet ... Sorry guys, real life keeps me busy lately. I will still retake the o43 islands he took me.

I think we should hit o22 and o43, and sooner than later (this according to eproxy's excelent sumarized map).

In fact I've asked attacks to comence on o22, originating from o11,o21 and o1 - both clearing and fake attacks. It would help if more helped, by sending at least fake attacks NOW (1 lws) against all his island in o22...

Oh and I hate to sound pessimistic but I think we should start vetting isles for other alliances to take. For us to completely destroy him will take a large portion of our fleets - spreading out that cost, even at the expense of future profits would no doubt be wise.

Yes, I must concur, but we must try not to suffer face on that matter. If Pantheon offers help, we must decline. But if they say they're interested in specific targets, we can "wash our hands" so to speak and turn a blind eye on there actions...not sure if you understand what I getting at.
Basicly, trying to distance ourselves from any close association with other alliances in this matter.

I have a friend whom may be able to help with that matter.

Failing 'dishing' out isles we could always assign 1 Rahein isle to every 10 isles our own members have. A quick look at sizeable players, ie. mostly above 20 isles, reveals we 'should' easily be able to take him out. The only problem with that is people like me who took 9 orc isles so I only really have 58 battle isles and even then quite a few of those aren't feeling so good having cleared them Orc isles before hand :\

We are not in any hurry, but those players in strong Rahein areas could use support. So send them stoners, and spy on Rahein and send fake attacks. Take isles where he is weak and outnumbered to put pressure on him.

Rahein is considered extremely secondary target from now on.

are you serious? In about 4hrs is the target time for our massive o43 offensive against him, to take 35 isles he currently holds there. Thousands of LWS, colo ships, sailing on days long journey's, hitting in a matter of hours. Now those isles will be left defenseless and further isles for Digg to take, not to mention our own isles being that much further weakened by sending these fleets...
