I think this is what should happen: 1. Clause makes that complaint and sends it to Sven. 2. The complaint should posted on the official forums. This would officially state our position in this war. 3. We merge to prove to the other alliances that we're not Fottuto! around. 4. Meanwhile, while all of this is happening...members should be notified to figure out enemy targets close to them and should post them here....and all that other fun stuff. You got got a BIG exalt from me, Elenna. How about being promoted to head admin of Morkin?

I thought lowly Luxor members were not allowed to enter Morkin halls... EDIT: Holy Merda!...I just saw my karma points...

Are we only targetting Rhino and his accounts? Which alliance are we merging into? Luxor? Has most members I think so easiest in theory? Could then rename it as we did before, someone would need to setup a Luxor alliance on their own to keep the name for us. Single-island account (I believe 1-2 are still laying around) would be best for this. I'd volunteer for doing it, but I suspect you'll want my points for the score factor.

Yes, that Michael Lavender should be English_Cheese. When I heard from Ratem (Thomas Puschmann) that he sold his account I started talking to the new owner. He called himself John Hannan and referred to his brother "Rhinokiller" Mike who was assembling money to actually buy me out. I was surprised at hearing this and asked him to have Rhino contact me then to explore this further. Rhinokiller however didn't contact me, so I contated him eventually. By the way, Pinky_and_brain was bought for a mere 75 pounds according to John Hannan who seems much nicer to talk to than Mike. As much as I enjoy playing with all you guys (and don't get me wrong: I will continue to do so in one form or the other), this game is getting to me to the point where it effects my personal life. In laymen's terms: there are days or at least there have been days where my proper functioning during the day has been compromised due to not drawing the line at the amount of time and effort put into this game. This is clearly a failing, an inadequacy, on my behalf, but at least I register it and am able to evaluate and to start looking for a possible solution. In my case that solution seems to be to on a superficial level to cash in on the waves of megalomaniacal lunacy of one player (i.e. Rhinokiller), but on a more profound level to rid myself of the main debilitating factor in my online existence: the Ashimar account. My personal proverbial Corvette C6 in Inselkampf terms... I'm obsessed with it. No kidding ! I may not be a true colowhore (I would die...), but what I have is sizable and my military makes up for the lack of score and isles. But as the last big war showed me: I can not combine my behind the scenes black ops, looking after peoples accounts from time to time and run both my wifes and my own acount in a wartime situation with a kid deserving of my attention. As for XXL, it doesn't help me for as long as I have my account I NEED TO fiddle with it, I NEED TO read and message stuff. When I go to bed at 23:00 I have no rest because I haven't checked around 24:00 (here 01:00, GMT+1 you see) what the new server update brought. Selling Ashimar and fetching a hefty price for it reduces my Inselkampf time AND responsibility significantly and is therefore good for me. Nevertheless it bugs me that it's this Rhinokiller loony and I regret it has a negative impact on our raw strength, but seriously, I have invested quite a bit of money myself into my account (to buy cats and stoners when they were still pricey, right after the Tyrant wars) and so I look somewhat differently at this offer of 850 euros if you know what I am getting at. It's a way for me, also, to correct what I now see as an error, to recuperate that money once spent. Yes, Robert, money is just money, but young and somewhat older in equal measure can have a need of some more of it at times. As for the actual transaction, Rhinokiller seems to have financial problems. His cashflow can't keep up apparently. I got, albeit in Dutch, the exact text message from PayPal regarding that "fraudulent money". I thought it was rather typical, this whole situation. As for Michael Lavender: ofcourse you have plans for that 200 pounds. So do I if and when I get the money. As for suiciding on Rhinokiller instead and forgetting about that money, I do not agree. It could be fun perhaps but after that what do we do ? It doesn't solve my problems at all, it seems to me to make them worse in fact. I got a better plan, though it's not really in accordance with the Morkin spirit in this game: I'd say we sell our accounts and start running new multi accounts, big spidery webs of accounts in the new oceans and when they are big we send them forth in one big wave to rain hell and damnation on the cheaters we know. There is afterall cheating and cheating. Rhinokiller goes overboard in this regard, on that I agree with Freiegeister, but why should I sacrifice my account in the face of such a nice gratification only to find new abominations occur sooner or later after all this is done ? I feel it would be far more interesting to start submitting evidence to Sven Schramm to get him to ban those accounts Rhino bought and in the meantime to start operation "Shadowfleet" (multi accounts with high tech scripts - fight fire with fire !). There's yet another idea I had, to take the money and run, following the line of thought that cheaters have no rights and therefore it's morally okay to rob him of 850 euros and then to keep my account, but no, I think that is definitely a couple of steps to far for me. Even for me. Feel free to comment. "Rhinokiller wins Inselkampf, declared bankrupt in real life though."

Marc, my friend, this is the precise dilemma I reached in DIGG. Added to that, 500+ members were the source of countless threads to have to continually monitor, and intervene as necessary to keep them from being a disorganized mob. My solution was to come to Morkin, where I had some very good friends, such as yourself, and had come to see how mature and autonomous everyone is - not a playpen of children that needed continual babysitting. So, my proposal - retire to DIGG, see how much of a headache this game can truly become You'll be back home to us in no time!

I know how you feel about not wanting to suicide. I felt like that after I quit on UK and attacked Slayer (or whatever Scemo! it was). Sad to see Ashimar go... no more mighty fleets...

I know this is probably going to sound silly since Inselkampf is only a game... Before I say anything, I'd just like to say that I have nothing against you, Ashimar, or any other person who will be selling their account. We all have our problems... But, I can't help but feel that behavior here is unfortunately very similar to real life human behavior. Money often gets in the way of doing the right thing...but who am I to label what the right thing is... The thing is, I will probably kill my account with this war, and while I won't leave with money...I will leave with the satisfaction that at least I tried to do something about it. I may be a useless Mexican in real life...but I will not be useless here even if it is a stupid game. Hehe Just for the record, I do understand that this game is addicting...but, we've all been there before (at least I have). Yes, you might leave this game with 850 euros but I guarantee you that you will find another form of distraction that will be the equivalent of this game. But that just me and my random rants. Sad to see you go though...maybe you can still stop by these forums to humor us about how great life is without IK.

Rumor is Mike Lavender has cancer. That's why he's being so open with his cash, and eager to dish his account purchases to "friends".
No idea how credible that is... but damn, sure is something to think about...

Sure, something will replace the freed up time and it may even be internet related instead of familyrelated, but I'll be 850 euros richer. I can put that on my daughter's saving account, or I can say that my recently acquired DSLR has just paid itself. Or that finally I've made some money with intellectual property and creativity and such. And I've known for quite some time now that Inselkampf mimics daily life. Complex social dynamics is what this game is about, market economy too, now capitalism. It's shocking, but no surprise, Sol. It's captivating to some of us, isn't it ? And it's all in the game so to speak. Hippies found out the day they had to buy a house that they had to shut up about their ideals while at work lest they would be without it and would loose their house. I'm not a hippie either, I like to think of myself as having ideals, but I know it takes very special kind s of people to change the world (a bit) and although quite a character by some peoples standards I am not one of those rare people. I'll just sell my soul to the Mammon, knowing I possess the power to create a new soul for my purposes.

What a mess... And I'm away. Hang on till next tuesday and i'll come to set things right!
And for the record, i don't like any of this doomsday-stuff like quitting, suiciding selling and going out with a bang. I've had bad times as well and i hate the whole Fottuto! game, but i don't just sell or quit because i like the community here. I don't say it to claim how people should act, but just a notify there is alternative way.
