The guy clearly has issues and it's getting out of hand. I like to read that forum for some laughs, but the past week it's only pissed me off.

Let's face it, dying is much more upsetting for the one doing the actual dying than for those left behind. I'm sorry if this sounds a bit blunt, but I strongly believe this to be true.
I tend, based on some inside information, to believe him. Not everyone deals with this the way Gandhi did, or the Dalai Llama would. The guy hasn't gotten his emotions in check, well, I can't entirely blame him and if that shocks the living who expect to keep on living then that's understandable but not a reason to condemn him for being painfully frank. You and I would perhaps not say it as he would, if we were in his shoes, but that's differences between people for you.

Yeah...I guess other people handle death differently.
Reading that it all seems a bit clearer to me now. Rhino is probably using his illness to justify his actions here. Meh...people.

You don't know him personally, or have any intention or need to. He was (and should remain) a faceless opponent who fights and intrigues better than a computer opponent (at least you would hope so). Don't need to know your personal problems - otherwise we'd still be putting up with the likes of Sheldon... Oh wait, nah couldn't be.

*edits, possible rude comment*
So, I haven't been keeping up with the official forums too much, but do we know what he is going to do with all the accounts?

I side with Ashimar, personally I couldn't give a flying one that he is dying. Harsh yes, but if thats the way to go then I have a list of personal problems a long as a piece of string, can I spend all my wordly earnings to cheat at this game just so I can feel like I won something? Please, pretty please I am fed up with his using this as a reason to cheat, because thats exactly what it is cheating, plain and simple

I'm not sure why, considering I have almost every right to be (My grandfather had cancer, my aunt died of cancer, both of my grandmothers had breast cancer, my uncle has cancer, another of my aunts had cancer, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone here.)

To be honest, I'm extremely skeptical of his "cancer" claims.
The whole "dieing man's last fun" bit just seems far too contrived.

I totally agree. If it was me dying, I'd at least try to get a life All joking and scepticism aside, it's possible that he is bound to a bad or a chair because of the decease, and so can't get out much. But that is besides the point. Nobody would have minded if he played the game 24/7, but it's his buying up of accounts that has set many people against him.

I've known you for a handful of months now, and I've never seen typo's like this from you before 'bad' should have been 'bed', obviously. 'decease' should have been 'disease'. That's an unfortunate substitution on my part. I simply couldn't remember which word meant what, and as I was distracted I didn't pay that much attention to what I was typing. I don't mean to mock his dyslexia in any way. I myself have more than my share of typos, especially as I often am multitasking while writing these posts and rarely manage to proofread before posting. Often I have to edit posts when I find embarrasing errors after posting them.
