I took it upon myself to find out what Makari thinks of the situation, and he has been very calm, and seems to be failry chatty. Read the posts below and tell me what you think of this possible solution:

I'm not quite sure why I am mailing you in all honesty, but please hear me out.
As you can expect everything get posted in our forums, and I have been following the situation as closley as possible.
I'm not writing on behalf of Morkin (or any of its subsidary alliances) I am writing to hear your take on the situation.
Pretty much I would like to hear if you think this is a war worth fighting, as in, do you believe the reasons to be that great that they cannot be sorted out through diplomacy?
I for one believe that diplomacy still has a place in this mess.
I don't care whos to blame or anything like that, the important thing is the outcome, and as many people have said, it would be a real shame if this came to war and the Orc's got taken out of the game. Your alliance is quirky and brings all sorts of stuff to the game.
Will you grant me with a personal reply?
Regards,
Ruku

RE: Recent Events
Greetings Ruku,
This has of course all escalated from Morkin's ridicules colonization rules. If Makari has cleared a isle at the cost of 450 lws then the isle belongs to Makari.
A member of Corleth took the isle after Makari's colonization attempt had failed and Makari had two more on route. One of the two landed and took the isle from the Corleth member.
Although Makari offered compensation for her lost ship Morkin decided that this was a attack on Morkin some how and Ashimar launched a large fleet on Makari.
Natmus asked Orc to laugh off Ashimar's attack as he lost more than Makari. He would have lost nothing if he did not chose to attack Makari.

Makari.
P.s. Reply granted incase you didn't already realise

RE: RE: Recent Events
Greetings Makari,
I can understand your frustration, I would be also.
The Morkin Colo policy has been submited on the official Inselkapf forums, and its getting loads of criticism.
Clausewitz posted that Luxor has not accepted this policy yet and it is still undergoing changes. And he quite rightly pointed out that not all of us agree with it.
Do you believe that there is any way that this could be resolved without any fighting at all?
And am I right in assuming that the Orcs attacking would be on your say so?
So if you decided (just by chance say) that you no longer wanted to persue it, then the whole war would be called off?
Regards again!
Ruku
P.s. Thankyou for granting me with a reply

Greets,
Righty then:
"And am I right in assuming that the Orcs attacking would be on your say so?
So if you decided (just by chance say) that you no longer wanted to persue it, then the whole war would be called off?"
That is correct. However Ashimar cost Makari just under 10,000 stonethrowers in his attack. So Orc are currently at a loss. If compensation were payed then Makari can see no reason for further blood shed between our alliances.

Makari.

RE: RE: Recent Events
Greetings,
So how much compensation would you be looking for exactly?
If this compensation is not too demanding (taking into account Ashimars losses, even though it was a preemptive strike) would the war deffinatley be called off?

Ruku

Greets,
This has been said by a few member's of the Morkin family:
"taking into account Ashimars losses"
Why should Makari be taking that into account really? He was the aggressor with no just cause.
For Makari to not want to take this any further would be compensation in the form of around 100 catapults. A reasonable amount considering the situation would you not say?
Regards,
Makari.

Greets,
I will post this on the forums immediately as this seems very reasonable proposal in order to stop this war.
I understand that the strike was pretty excesive, and I believe Ashimar agrees with that as well.
I shall post back regarding details.
Thankyou very much for your time, I'm glad to see that we can be civilised in the midst of all this comotion.
Regards,
Ruku
