What does the timeline reveal?

1. He launches colonyship 30 minutes prior to my successful colonization. Could have easily recalled, but I won't take serious issue with that.

2. He launches cat fleets 6 hours AFTER I had the succesful colonization. He would have clearly seen the island name change in his harbour, as my isle was named "! CLAUSEWITZ" until 2 hours ago.

I can only conclude that, knowing his coloship would be running into a wall, he decided to launch cat fleets anyways. Not only taking out the lvl 20 wall to protect his boat, but also knocking out the MH to give him a chance to colo over me.

You will also note there is a mere 30 minutes between his coloship and taking out the MH.

I have notified Toxins, Empire's Admin (who I know fairly well), and expressed my displeasure over this, and my expectation for full compensation. This isn't a simple error of sending cats with (or too close to) a coloship, but sending those cats AFTER THE ISLAND WAS THOROUGHLY IN MY POSSESSION.

As I told mkhan, "This will not end well for you."

My patience is wearing thin with these kinds of amateur colonization attempts...

Further irritation:

Look at his cat fleets. He did not "fail to notice" somebody else had colonized the island first. Those fleets are completely insufficient to clear the island. He sent them knowing full-well that I had cleared the island and gotten there first.

4:90:10 is the isle in question.

I cleared and colonized it.

30 minutes before I colo'd, mkham launched his colo ship.

6 hours AFTER I colonized it, he launched cat fleets. The fleets were completely insufficient to clear the island, hence they were sent knowing full well it was cleared (obvious since I had just colo'd it).

He timed the cats a mere 30 minutes in front of the colo, so it was impossible to get the MH back up after his cat fleet. I have full reports upon request.

Now he has successfully colonized the isle.

I am extremely aggitated over his behavior, and fail to see how it can be anything other than deliberate action on his behalf. I am notifying you that I have contacted him, and am currently spying his two o15 isles. Failure to make compensation on his part (coloship + lvl 20-19-18-17 wall + 15 stoners + 4 lvls MH), and I will be forced to retaliate against this direct aggression.

Out of respect for Empire, Toxins, and yourself, I am notifying you guys, in the hope that it can be resolved with compensation paid, rather than extracted.

Spies are already away. Coloship to retake the isle is already away. I have no problem giving you the time you need to talk with him first, but those two actions (retaking the isle and spying his other 2) are already foregone conclusions.

Don't stress it too much - I can tell the guy is a noob, and probably panicked when he saw his colo was heading for an isle that was already taken so sent his cats anyways (or was legitimately completely retarded, and didn't realize what he was doing was a flagrantly aggressive move; "I had already launched my colo, so it's fair game"?).

Anyhow, I fully understand this isn't an Empire action, just a rookie blunder. I won't be pummeling him unless he wants to be a prick about making this right.

I have the island back, and considering my cat fleets hit nothing but air, I'm inclined to think the kid hasn't been online all day.

Now it's just a matter of getting paid back for the extra colonyship this one cost. I'm feeling moderately merciful at the moment, so I'll probably waive the stoners/destruction, and just ask for the coloship. I'll even offer him a reasonable "payment plan". Of course, this could change if he turns out to be a stubborn little mule

I gave mkhan + Psycho_Penguin a 24 hour notice yesterday, and received only a broken response that expressed neither apology nor intent to compensate.

As such, I have notified both mkhan and PP that I am commencing extraction of said compensation today.

I will be taking mkhan's weakest isle, leaving him with his main, and even offering to help him find a new isle and help him build his next coloship - assuming he communicates any form of apology.
