34 hours remaining for Team Alpha and Charlie to land ships if it's going to happen, per Shen's closing time of 2300 GMT Friday Sept 21st.
EVALUATION OF TEAM BRAVO: I made a mistake in my initial evaluation, by failing to take into account that Kelksta was a member of Team Bravo.
KingShaun landed the clearing fleet. conkeror landed the cat fleet. Kelksta did indeed land the sweeper fleet. TheNoob landed the colo fleet.
Time from clear to colo fleet = 1hr15m, give or take a minute or two.
Against a savvy warfighter, that is entirely too long, unless you catch them in their sleep (or when they're offline). TheNoob's colo fleet gave me plenty of time to drop plenty of stoners to kampf it.
However, the order was indeed correct for fleets, and 3/4 members of the team + free agents scored hits. Very impressive for a first attempt. Room for improvement, certainly, but considering the distances involved and quantity of participants in the strike, it was an impressive demonstration.
TEAM BRAVO: Feel free to share your coordination efforts, difficulties, etc., so that the rest of us may benefit from your experiences. What we in the military call an "After Action Review" - what happened, 3 things that went well, and 3 things that could use improvement.

Personally, I think we did well on: - Working good as a team on a weekend. We all viewed our member lists and figured out who was active and quickly put together a team. We wasted no time in setting up "Team Bravo"
- conkeror did a GREAT job on letting everyone know when they needed to land and making sure everything landed in order.
- Keeping in contact with each other (though a little bit of lacking of this caused a little commotion)
What we could work on: - We need to time our fleets to land much closer together. Granted, 1 hr 15 min is not bad for a first try with coordination 4 people, it should be less than a minute when it is all done and said, or at least 4 min (1 min between each fleet)
- We made an error of having two commanders (conkeror and myself) and this caused a controversy on kelksta (which actually worked out though). Next time we need one coordinator to give everybody the details.
- We need to make sure we confirm that a member will be able to send, and make sure we pick the most reliable members. (ie: neinIsNo had RL problems and could not launch, but kelksta saved us)
All in all, I think that everyone in Bravo did a great job, but I KNOW that we can do better!

TheNoob beat me to it as i was typing, but there you go. Pretty much same points as TheNoob, we discussed alot about this =p
---
Allright, thanks for reevaluating !
Well what I can say to wrap up our efforts is that first off we could'nt reach every team member in time to plan it ahead due to the short delay. That delay was fine, things usually always happen fast. And its nothing agaisnt our team members that couldnt answer the call fast enough, we all have a life outside IK.
King_Shaun and I where the only two of team Bravo online and aware of the games when it was the starting time of the event (16th 00:01 gmt). We tried to recruit free agents, but they where both recruited by team Alpha at that time. Since I was 50+ hours off, i figured we should launch anyways just to participate. So we agreed on a landing time and went for it.
Then TheNoob came back to me to join our team since the first team to have recruited him looked like they couldnt launch. So he proposed us to merge our active members, so we did and we added him and NeinIsNo to the team, they still had time to make it. A great idea from his part and a very good initiative. At that point there was confusion going because both me and TheNoob where giving directions so neither of us had full knowledge of what was going on.
Then kelksta came back online. I was offline/sleeping at that time but he got in touch with TheNoob and been given a landing time for his fleet to fit with us. I think they could nt confirm it toghether so some confusion went on there between us three (me, TheNoob, kelksta) as I did confirm for TheNoob and it resulted in him launching two fleets to get it right. Im not looking to point at anyone, its all our fault. I think kelksta did well enough to join the team and land in time given the short delay he had.
So in the end we all landed, 5 of us, counting 2 sweeper fleets. We had much more time between the fleets than in the inital plan, we wanted to land 1 minute apart each. Seeing it was an hour and some minutes gap, i am thinking the cause is some time zone mistakes or something.
I think we didnt do all that bad since we where not expecting this at all, but it is still far from sastisfying to me. I would like to repeat the exercice until we can land at 1 min - 30 secs apart each like a walk in the park. Better communication, having only one team leader to report to and having better preparation would sort this out i think.
So, I enjoyed that first game ! May the tradition go on !

Glad to hear we won! Even after all that comfusion! lol!
I would like conkeror and TheNoob to have my 2 cats as they did a superb job in coordinating the attacks! All I had to do was send the attacks :-)
Well done Bravo! Great effort!
