This reply was sent in 10 different mails. I believe that is the largest so far, even including application to FoM/Luxor.

RE: KoM App Pt1
1. Why do you want to join us? Looking for a strong, reliable alliance with friendly, trustworthy members, which I believe your alliance is and consists of due to past experience and from the MidnightMU forum (Account name Vanguard).
2. If applicable why do you want to leave your current alliance? The alliance I am in currently has no character. When I joined it was alright, because some people put in the effort to talk on the board, but now things have died out. I like an alliance that is in constant communication, even if there isn't a war or anything important happening.
3. What is your IK history; List of Wars, Friends and Enemies. Alliances you've been in. On .co.uk I started early and was invited into VI|S. I stayed with that alliance until it disbanded. I was on holiday at the time and my friend (sitting my account) managed to find me a place in another alliance. I quickly left when I returned (they didn't speak much English) to join the new alliance founded by some friends from the old VI|S which evolved into E~L (of whom I was and Admiral and breifly became admin of E~A while we were setting it up). From that trouble ensued with Morkin (I don't hold any grudges, you handled the war really impressively). I've been in several other wars, the majority have been victories to my alliance at the time, apart from the stand the old E~L made against Virus who was picking on my friend Eternitycode (now calder). I like to think we gave them a fair fight though. They suffered some fairly heavy losses. On here I've not been in a real war yet, just taking out the occasional person in retalliation for trying to take other member's of the alliance's isles.
As you can see, I've been playing the game for a fairly long time and have been in my share of fights.
4. How would you describe yourself as a player, What are your traits, both good and bad? I like to think of myself as a fairly good player (not the strongest, but have a good understanding of how the game works, etc). I'm very loyal. Whenever I've been in an active alliance I've never accepted invitations to other alliances, even ones higher ranked. I will follow most orders unless it's completely unfair against someone I'm attacking or unless it's against a close friend of mine. I used to talk to BOATFISH a fair bit, but didn't attack him when I was fighting Virus until he attacked me... Then I went all out against him (teach him a lesson ). That's another thing. I'm not sure whether it's good or bad, but I'm always prepared to go all out in a fight. It means I usually win, but will be rather weak afterwards.
5. How much experience do you have of playing Inselkampf? I reckon I've covered this in the IK history section.
6. How would you briefly describe yourself as a person: Age, Gender, Native Language, Hobbies, Education, Lifesituation and so on. I'm 17 (birthday in about 2 weeks), male, Brittish (Scottish). I enjoy playing basketball, football and used to play American football with my friends on Fridays, but that's stopped now. My next door neighbour is going to start taking me to boxing some time - I've practiced with him and his son on the pads a couple of times. I've just left school after 6th year, waiting my results on Advanced Higher Chemistry and Physics and Higher Human Biology and Philosophy. Last year I took 5 Highers and got AABBC, A's for Physics and Computing, B's for Chemistry and Maths and a C for English. When I get my results back, I'll see whether or not I've managed to do well enough to get into Dentistry (A in Human Biology, B in Chemistry). If not I'll be going into Biomedicinal Sciences. Right now I'm staying with my parents and will be for the next year or so at least. At the start of 2nd year of uni I'll consider moving out, but for now I'm content staying at home. I'm also thinking of joining the University Officer Training Corps at Glasgow for something else to do, as you can see I like keeping fit, though what that has to do with IK I have no idea.
7. Describe your current technical situation in the game. Isles, Fleets, Garrisons, which Ocean you are in etc.
I have seven isles in Ocean 1 and three in Ocean 31. There are various numbers of spearfighters (I usually don't build archers until I've a large number to defend my isle with) ranging from 4.5k to 7k and I generally keep my isles with even numbers of lws, having only a couple I send occasional resources to for aid of helping build larger fleets on them, so I also have two isles with around 700 Lws and the rest with just over 300 lws each. I have 176 catapults across all ten isles currently too. I tend not to bother too much about stone throwers, due to strength values compared to archers and spearfighters, but I have about 4k across my isles.
8. What were your best and worst moments in the world of Inselkampf?
I wouldn't exactly say I've had any worst moments, but if I had to choose one it'd be the time I was being picked on by some big german player who was -meant- to be my ally. I forget his name now, but if I saw it again I'd know who it was. I managed to work my way out of his grip though, without losing too much, so I was happy about that. A lot of the time I've just really been having a good laugh with whoever's been in my alliance at the time. It's always fun in a war though, getting to know who's really there when you need them and the rest of it. When Eternitycode was being picked on, the majority of the alliance at the time was all for going on a suicide run against Virus. Those were great times! It was always a laugh whenever we either got completely destroyed or when we managed a victory. It was great when we were managing to take a few of their isles. It's just a game after all, some people take it way too seriously.
9. What is you opinion of multis and scripters? I know it'll sound a really standard answer, but they ruin the game. If there are people putting in a lot of time and effort, it's not fair if they write up a macro and it takes them 2 seconds what it does everyone else an hour. But then again, a lot more people would be doing the same if they knew how to write up macros like that, so they at least have an argument that they do it because they can... And as far as I know (I've never checked) it's not really against the rules as long as it's just building their isles and armies up. I'm not impressed if they try to colonise or attack people with them. There's no need for that, since that's generally the "fun" part of the game, apart from the banter of course! As for multis? They have no place in the game. Everyone else starts off with one isle, I don't see why they shouldn't too. It's clearly against the rules, and I don't see why there aren't IP checks, etc even just to monitor who uses accounts from the same network, so that if there is a lot of shipping between two accounts then the admins can pick up on it. I have no clue how easy it'd be to impliment this however.
10. Regarding pacts and peace treaties, what do you understand by those terms? Pacts I see as an obligation to help the other person/alliance in their time of need. It's not a light thing. Sometimes I think that people aren't as honourable as they used to be. I was always brought up that your word is your bond, and I stick by that. Before you make a pact I always think you should take a look at the alliance themselves. If they're likely to start trouble you don't want to be involved with then don't offer a pact, a peace treaty will do. It's not good enough to say you have a pact then only help out in whichever fights you see as "right" or ones you know you'll win easily. Moving on to peace treaties, basically reckon it's like a friendship. You don't always need to see eye to eye, but you've got to respect each other and give them their due,i.e. not attack each other for any reason. If you're going to call off a peace treaty, to help out a pact for example, you should at least give them a few days notice before you start attacking them. Telling them the same day that the peace treaty is off then attacking them is as bad as breaking the treaty in my eyes. And just for the record, I would never attack any of my personal pacts (close friends mainly from .co.uk) even for my alliance. It's nothing personal against Morkin, Luxor or KoM, I wouldn't do that for any alliance.
11. Are you aware that Morkin, and therefore KoM, are rather peaceful alliances not actively seeking domination or war. Your alliance has never seemed the warmongering type, apart from when they are at war of course, they hold nothing back! But yes, I was aware you try to be peaceful until it's impossible for war to be avoided.
12. Please note anything which you feel might support your application to KoM. I can't say that I know what to put here, other than I'm loyal as long as the alliance has a good leader (which I know they do) or are friendly. I've no qualms following orders (unless they're obviously stupid or unfair, but then again I'm applying to this alliance because I'm sure I won't be given any of those). I'll gladly take a hit for the team, attack someone I'll clearly lose against in order for someone else to be able to take the isle and the like. And I'm enthusiastic, so you'll have no worries about me being inactive apart from when I'm not physically at home for extended periods of time.
13. Are you currently in any wars/squabbles with other players? What combat have you been involved in on this server? On this server I've only been involved with small alliance skirmishes against two players (doesn't exactly sound fair, I know, but they weren't negotiating and had attacked other alliance members). Nothing has carried on from that and as far as I know, I'm not on anyone's hitlist.
14. What is your attitude to helping your alliance as well as pacted alliances during a war? Are you aware that if you join Morkin you would be expected to fight for the good of the alliance if war came and that these wars may require a significant contribution over a period of time (within reason)? I'd gladly help a pacted alliance or the Morkin alliance group. The same goes with individual players within the alliance. As I've said above, you don't need to worry about me helping in wars, or how much I'll be willing to commit to giving up in order for the alliance to win.
15. Does anyone else have access to your account and what is their IK name? If yes what are their IK names and ID's? If Arminius has kept my password from sitting my account then he'll have access and can verify army counts, etc if you like. Other than that it's just me.
16. Have you had your account name changed in the past. If so, please provide the old names. I've always been Cait_Sith on any inselkampf server.
17. What is you game ID? (ID is in the addressbar when you go to rankings and click on yourself. Like ....p=member&id=1234 where the 1234 would be the ID)
My id is 357 on .com.
Sorry it took so long, but I've had a fair amount to type. I'm sure you'll understand.
