Strategy

We need to decide on a strategy before we can plan properly so i'd like everyones opinion here.
The options i can see in front of us are
1) Fishcult re-takes the isle on his own, we stay out of it until we see what [mx] are going to do.
2) We help fishcult clear the isle which he takes back.
3) We attack loki en-masse, clearing and taking isles but restrict our attentions to him until we see how [mx] react.
4) We attack loki and launch pre-emptive strikes on Troian and Mer as an example to the other members.

I'd like as many opinions as possible and if anyone has any other options then i'd like those as well.

My opinion is:

1. We wait until all diplomatic avenues have been explored, currently eproxy is going to talk to Troain which may result in an amicable solution. If that doesn't happen then late tomorrow I will send the first of the ultimatums. Then, if within 24 hours we still have no resolution we move to stage 2.

2. Fishcult retakes the colony using force, backed up with resources from FoM.

3. If things escalate, any MX members who are aggressive will be fair game for the Triumverate. We will at this stage send messages to all MX players with the true story backed up with the messages/screenshots etc to try to get them to fragment.

4. If large numbers of MX members get involved, we declare war on MX and target their admins as primary targets. We then call in Digg and Orc to support us as well as any other alliances which are sympathetic.

How should we fight this if it does escalate? I say we should play the defensive game apart from Fishclt who obviosly has to attack to get back his colony.

Let them break their fleets on our stone walls and expose their colony ships so we know where to fleet steal and we can then pick and choose the optimum targets.

We'll need to closely confer with nearby allies, activity and communication are the keys to success. I know that with my close proximity to Nemesis we will be able to help each other out immensely but only IF we work together.

I suggest Fishcult takes his isle back. If MX feel they need to interfere we *all* go for Troian and Mer, nobody else. Cut the head off... After they have been taken out we'll see whom we target next. But we should pick them off one at a time, and inform them that we're doing that. Total annihilation, down to one island and score 5. Or if they keep the islands, all islands reduced to score 5.

Then we'll see how many of them are prepared to fight for a fraudster...

Did someone ask for a map?

Tis the best I could do m'fraid. It's not even interactive or anything, nor does it show player names. I just use it as an image to guage strength in different oceans (more applicable in IKUK to be honest).

Added; I was just wondering who the poor sod was all on his own in... (slight pause whilst I worked it out just looking at it) ocean 5... sea 42... oh sh!t thats me. I thought those co-ords seemed familiar rofl.

Added2; Forgot to mention that map is for the entire of the Triumverate.

I can only make a seperate one for [MX] I'm afraid (or the same one with the same colours), although I could then see about merging the two. Or I could alter the entire document and try do what you ask, no idea if its possible using my methods or how long it'll take.
