I have already stated that I don't think that Luxor has to be completely closed. Especially to known players like clausewitz. I consider Gauge one of these kinds of guys.

1. Why do you want to join us?

Have always had a strong repore with the Morkin Trifecta. The current leadership of Digg has finally broken my will to care about the goings on of that alliance anymore.

3. What is your IK history; List of Wars, Friends and Enemies. Alliances you've been in.

Digg since day one. Previous Digg admin as I'm sure you know you anyways. Many contacts across the game though most stemming from Digg, Pantheon and Morkin alliances.

4. How would you describe yourself as a player, What are your traits, both good and bad?

Active would be the best single word. I'm built like a brick house both offensively and defensively and unafraid to use what I have.

5. How much experience do you have of playing Inselkampf?

Joined in late december 2006.

6. How would you briefly describe yourself as a person: Age, Gender, Native Language, Hobbies, Education, Lifesituation and so on.

I'm a dude, age 26, with English being my native language. If it involves sports, the outdoors, alcohol or women, I'm involved. College graduate. Full time art director.

7. Describe your current technical situation in the game. Isles, Fleets, Garrisons, which Ocean you are in etc.

33 isles, based mostly from O31, but with colonies in 22 and 32 as well.

8. What were your best and worst moments in the world of Inselkampf?

My first colony. Admin'ing Digg for my brief stint which counts for both best and worst. Various wars.

9. What is you opinion of multis and scripters?

Kill em all. Let God sort em out.

10. Regarding pacts and peace treaties, what do you understand by those terms?

Pacts are generally categorized as offensive or defensive and adhered to as such.
Treaties to me, are simply friendly alliances.
As a former Digg admin, I'm more than a little familiar with the system

11. Are you aware that Morkin, and therefore KoM, are rather peaceful alliances not actively seeking domination or war.

13. Are you currently in any wars/squabbles with other players? What combat have you been involved in on this server?

No current wars or squabbles existing.

Combat history.. almost too many to name anymore.

Empire wars
Phoenix wars

are the most noteable. Other conflicts could hardly be considered wars.

14. What is your attitude to helping your alliance as well as pacted alliances during a war? Are you aware that if you join Morkin you would be expected to fight for the good of the alliance if war came and that these wars may require a significant contribution over a period of time (within reason)?

Pacts are pacts for a reason, you aid them when the call for war is reasonable. Yes I'm aware and I would naturally contribute whatever is asked of me.

15. Does anyone else have access to your account and what is their IK name? If yes what are their IK names and ID's?

Nobody else has access to my account.

16. Have you had your account name changed in the past. If so, please provide the old names.

Yes, former name was Gauge.

EDIT: Just want to add - his sense of humour is a bit "unique". Some folks mind find him a bit cranky or crude. But if you understand that he's actually quite mature and it is just, in fact, his style, you'll find he's a solid mate and great asset as a player.

I have never seen the cranky side of gauge. I have tried to stir it up a time or two but have never managed to force it to the surface.
