*PART 1*

I am extremely interested in joining FoM. I can easily agree to all of your rules due to the fact that I have been pretty much following them both on the UK server and while getting started on this server.

I am definately in favor of alliances discussing matters before jumping the gun and doing something stupid. This is one of the problems I was just having with -S-. The discussions were horribly limited and there was virtually no leadership or organization.

I have been expanding through the colonising of unowned isles and farming inactives. I am open to using whatever resources are necessary to help my alliance and friends.

I often log on to check my account multiple times a day. I have been playing on the UK server for a little over a year now and have developed a good understanding of the game in that time. I would hope that being in FoM would help teach me a lot more as I don't know everything about the game. I feel pretty confident with my English. I wasn't always the best student, but I do know that 'u' is a letter and not a word.
*PART 2*

The only friend I have that's associated with Morkin is Timberwolf in Corleth. I am in her alliance in the UK server. Although I was looking into it beforehand, she recommended for me to apply to your alliance.

I would never bully other players. I've been bullied a couple times on the UK server and obviously didn't enjoy it. I don't find much fun in picking on players half my size.

I mentioned organization before, which is something that I find to be really important. Morkin proved their organizational skills in the past on the UK server and from what I've heard, nothing has been lost in carrying it over to this server and into both FoM and Corleth.

Unless there's something more specific that you might want to know then I guess that's about it. I thank you all for taking the time to read this.

RE: Questionaire pt1
1. I know that Morkin has a history of being one of the most organized alliances in IK. I've been having trouble finding a well thought out and organized alliance on this server. They either have too many members and don't know how to manage them all or simply don't know how to manage even a small number of members. You guys are an extremely smart alliance and that is something that I would like to be a part of.
2. I'm obviously not in an alliance, but I just left -S- due to the horrible leadership and organization. After Tyrant was found to be a cheat, no one was really able to step in a take his place in the alliance. Some members would want to counter-attack someone, others wanted to wait and see what happened. The admins hardly ever stepped in to talk to the members. I just sat back and watched the whole situation unfold and it showed how bad the self proclaimed 'most powerful alliance in the server' really was.
3. When I was in my original alliance on the UK server, WiRE we were approached by Ninjas_1, an alliance 2 to 3 times our size. They came in threatening us for no reason at all. I think we had one colony in our whole alliance, but they felt the need to threaten us without the chance of really benefiting from it. Luckily one of our members called in a favor from Tribe. Attacks began on that alliance until they disbanded.
Quite a while before he was found to be a cheat, I often chatted with Gorai on IRC. He got me into my current alliance on the UK server as he protected them at the time. He helped me a lot and was really pushing for me to get some colonies (I started talking to him before I had any).
I know a couple of Phoenix players from some other forums I frequent. I know 801 and Spoofini, who is one of their unit admirals.
I also mentioned Timberwolf in my original PMs. I am in her alliance on the UK server, which is where she recommended that I apply for your alliance.
I can't say that I've really made any long term enemies either. I've had a couple random players suicide on one of my colonies (they all actually aimed at the ONE colony), but they didn't last very long after that. I try to keep good relations with people I have contact with.
4. I have the tendency to get a pretty big spear to lws ratio. I did it on the UK server and have already started doing it here. Spears obviously offer good defense, but I'm trying to build some more lws to balance it out a little bit. I'll always love my spears though. I am an extremely loyal player when I find a good alliance. The alliance doesn't have to be top ranked to be good, I like being around a group of fun, experienced players. I'm only in my second alliance on the UK server in over a year of playing.
5. As I said, I've been playing in the UK server for just over a year now. Something that could also be probably considered somewhat of a bad trait also is that I don't have any huge amount of war experience. Most situations have been resolved diplomatically by my alliance before anything really happened.
6. I am a 19 year old white male. I graduated high school last June and am taking a year off to work. I am currently a Shift Leader at Hollywood Video (free rentals!). I speak English and know an extremely small amount of Spanish from high school. I love sports. I watch them a lot more than I play them these days. I am a huge Yankees baseball fan and also enjoy watching basketball and American football with no real favorites in either sport.

7. I'm packed into o2 with a lot of other players. I'm currently up to 6 isles total. I have 2,475 spears across my first 4 isles, with the 5th being built towards making spears. I only have 165 lws right now, which is why I'm trying to balance everything out a little more. I've been slow to get to catas with my first just being built. I haven't really looked into trading for them or purchasing them though. When I get an isle I get the mines up to levels 13-16 and then go straight for spearfighters.
8. I think that when I got my first colony on the UK server was a great moment for me. It’s obviously not as big of a deal on this server because of all the 1 pointers, but there wasn’t nearly as much available when I started playing UK. Some of my worst moments are probably when I had some noob mistakes going for empty tsunami isles that someone else had obviously cleared. Luckily I was able to get out of those situations pretty well without any huge consequences. I feel that I’ve been able to grow in a fairly quiet way. I haven’t necessarily had the largest, most known achievements, but I’ve also avoided stepping on anyone’s toes in the process.
9. Burn ‘em! Seriously though, if you are caught breaking the rules then you deserve to be banned from the server. I do think that good evidence should be found to support any accusations as it’s stupid to start witch hunts. If only Sven were a little more proactive.
10. A pact is a person or alliance that you would fight for and defend, in turn they would be expected to fight for you. I find it best to have pacts with friends or people that you’ve had a lot of interaction with and are willing to fight for. Peace treaties mean that the two groups following the treaty will have peaceful relations with each other. It can seem like such a minor part of the game to some, but breaking a peace treaty can cause a whole load of problems. If you are willing to ‘sign’ a peace treaty then you better be willing to follow it.
11. I am aware and completely agree with being peaceful as much as possible. I also know that Morkin will defend themselves when needed and will stand by their word. I have never wanted to dominate IK. It can obviously be good for people to know that you can and will defend yourself, but there’s no need to aggressively steal colonies to get the upper hand on someone that wasn’t a threat to you in the first place.
12. I am not involved in any sort of combat at all at the moment and haven’t been involved in anything so far. It would have been pointless to jump in with instant attacks during the Tyrant situation. That’s only the real possible situation that I could have been involved in since no one had tried to provoke me either.
13. I honestly haven’t seen anything with Morkin/FoM/Corleth that I can disagree with. I have pretty much been following your rules before this and will continue to follow them regardless of what alliance I’m in. They all make perfect sense to me as I don’t feel the need to grow aggressively. I thank all of you for considering my application and taking the time to read this.
