RE: questionaire.
1. I want to join FoM because you are high ranked with not a lot of members. I do not like being unknown to the majority of my alliance and like a close-knit setup. FoM is also well respected and regarded as a strong alliance. You seem to be very fair and just, but not afraid to show some muscle. I dont want to be starting needless battles, but dont mind helping out other members. Also, however irrelevant, your alliance picture is pretty badass.
2. I want to leave my current alliance, mod_axis, because we have been getting a lot of people that dont really participate in the alliance. I'd say almost half of the people in there never say a word to the rest of us except when they want help. I want to be in an alliance where everyone is an active part of the whole alliance. Also, some people in the alliance are just plain idiots and want to attack whoever they feel like. Some of them have been colonizing people's main islands, kinda like FOIMP and -S- have been doing to some of our members.
3. I have been playing IK since mid-November. I havent been in any outstanding battles or wars because we in mod_axis tried not to go into all-out wars with alliances. We have gone up against a few bad apples out there though. We had this one guy who started attacking us because he didnt like a members website and he wouldnt give into diplomacy, so we basically destroyed him. I put up a good portion of my fleet against his much larger force so other could take down his island.
My friends are mostly people I know in real life. I have a brother that was the main admiral for mod_axis, but he is moving on as well. A lot of my friends were in mod_axis, but others have been in empire, evo, and even freedom. I am also friends with some of the people who left mod_axis and went off to make their own alliances. As for enemies, I dont have any that I know of. I try to remain peaceful and keep on people's good side.
4. I am peaceful. I try to help out people that need it and dont really mind if people make mistakes, like when my new colonies get attacked 5 minutes after being mine. I dont want to discourage others from playing the game and so i dont do things like take over an active player's island or plunder them, unnamed islands are just fine. I would rather solve a problem through talking and reperations than through going to war or destroying someone, but I understand that when the time comes I need to be prepared to do some Culo! kicking. I am hard working in my islands and try to play as much as possible, but generally cant be on during the morning due to school. As for bad, I have been naive in thinking my islands were defended enough. I have been working on my defenses for the past few days and hope to be well defended from now on.
5. I have been playing since mid-November like I said and have never heard of the game before then. I have never played on the uk server or anything like that. To be honest, I still have learning to do with each new event that arises, but am willing to adjust my game play to fit the situation.
6. Im a male in highschool, senior year. Im from Wisconsin (USA if some of you didnt know). I speak English and am still attending school 5 days a week. Hobbies include videogames with friends, cards, sports (soccer, basketball, and tennis), and
I like to watch movies.
7. I have 4 islands, 2 of which are almost fully developed. I have one that I am just focusing on building up my wall and st's and the other is really new so it hasnt been built up all too much. I am located in ocean 32, towards the top. My fleet is going to be at 100 LWS, 55 SMS, 13 cats (but i may get some back upon leaving mod_axis), 715 ST's, and 470 SF's by the end of the night.
8. I havent have many outstanding moments, but I really did enjoy getting my first island. Also being a diplomat for a short time was fun. I like talking with other alliances and people I havent talked to before.
9. I dont like people that cheat, and multis and scripters are cheaters to me. I dont see the point of cheating in something thats suppose to just be fun and interactive. I think they are just lazy and dont want to spend their time playing the game like its meant to be played like everyone else.
10. They are vows and promises basically. I think if you make either of them you are giving your word to the other party and you should always honor them. If you go back on your pacts like some alliances have done, it makes you seem really weak and scared. If you dont give the aid you said you would, how do you expect to get help back?
11. Yes, this was told to me by my friend and is a big part of why I want to join FoM and not some bully alliance. I think everyone should be able to co-exist, but understand that conflicts of interest do arise.
12. Not me personally but as for the alliance, there is one guy, Prenumerant that is in a battle with partypankster from FOIMP. He started attacking Pre's main island with no warning and wouldnt respond to any of our messages. Finally FOIMP said if we attack back it would be considered war. We got other alliances to help us out and they decided that we are gonna let them duke it out by themselves. We can only send resources to him. Other than that, just small battles with people that attacked our alliance members randomly. We try to solve it diplomatically but if they fail to listen to reason, we take back resources by force.
13. I think I would be a good fit in FoM. I can learn a lot from you guys and I think we can all benefit from me joining. I will always try to help out and do my part. I have no problem with sending resources and troops to anyone that needs them. I will continue to grow and create some solid defenses for my islands and I will be able to contribute to anything for the alliance. I dont just plan on being active by myself but with other members as much as possible. If I am allowed in, I will do pretty much anything that is asked of me that I find to be fair, and if not I will speak up and make my point democratically. I think the big thing is that I believe in the morals that you hold in FoM, that we should all live in peace and advance forward through diplomacy, but if you mess with our members and fail to solve the situation there is a price to pay.
