I started to get suspicious after 10+ failed colonisations.

I don't know if sometimes some isles are 'born' with an extra building of some kind, mostly gold mine level 1 or main house level 2. But it seems that way, as I recently have taken some isles I was pretty darn sure that only just had appeared, and never ever had been own by anybody. Still, both extra buildings have been seen on them.

When i send my collo ship, i always send a warship to spy, regardless of score. The spy report will come in far before the attack hits so if you need to send a cat, you will still be able to send a cat fleet to hit a fair amount of time before the cs fleet.

I find that main isles that have built nothing but 1 upgrade on their main house (making level 2 mh) before going inactive are at score 1. Isles that start out as unruled isles are always level 1 main house, but i spy anyway just so im certain.

If you don't pre-spy an island before attacking it, whether to Colo or just to clear, Then if you lose your fleet, the blame doesn't lie with the 1 point isle you attacked. Personally the stories I read about 10 colo attempts and then spy makes me think you guys all get on the PC before drinking your coffee, it also makes me laugh ;D ;D

I've never spied on a one-pointer before, this is the first one I've met with anything other than the usual MH 1 and nothing else. People are unlikely to stoner dump (at least near me, the largest dump I've seen so far was 30ST) with enough kill off a fairly well guarded CS so that doesn't bother me.

I was quite surprised at how many isles I had actually, 19 is not a small amount, especially if your still constructing buildings on almost half of them.

i failed going out to ocean 51 sent 4 cs attacks and 1 was successful 10 days round trip for the ones coming home
