A map of ocean 1 that I compiled yesterday; usually I don't do them in this format but I fancied a change. I'll do a 'normal' one later that will have all oceans on it. Ocean 1

No offence bob, I understand that this no doubt took you a while to produce but maybe a key would be nice. Just a friendly thought/ *This post is subject to change due to a higher than normal level of blood/alcohol.

Key; Blue = Sea Green = Everyone except the Triumvirate Everything that isn't Blue, Green or Black = The Triumvirate's isles I forgot a key because my own concoction already has one as default, and here we go; CorlethFoMMorkinThe TriumvirateNotes; I draw attention to Bishops isle naming scheme due it sheer directness, some is also drawn to RockLobsters although for different reasons. Starshatter and digital also seem to have overlapping naming schemes, others might as well but I noticed Winterfell since it's being filling my Events box for the last week or so. Kudos to Korba for his Dune themed isle names. It's also nice to see Nottap found some more names to add to his original theme which consisted of only 5. onewhoknowsitall has perhaps the most different scheme from the rest but thats by no means bad.

I'm slightly confused as to why my isle is situated. Looking at the FoM map you dont have a box that covers 5:41.
If needs be I'll change my naming scheme (I'll do it now infact). But I happen to like the name Winterfell.
On a side point, yesterday I nearly cried on the train while reading Sol Weintraub's story in Hyperion. I forgot how powerful it actually was.

It's not that powerful. Anyway... you can keep the same naming scheme, it doesn't affect the map. I've made a couple more maps to try and explain things, I regularly forget that few people can actually understand my maps^ FoM with some annotationsMy Guide to Oceans:Seas:IslesIf anyone has any request as to how I could make these maps better prey tell... they're only simple things to give general ideas of strengths (the old Grover/BBQD/CmC one was a bit full of green ).

But I happen to like the name Winterfell. Winterfell, eh? You have a Stark on it? ;D

Natmus: Unfortunately I don't have a Stark on there, but I do have a Snow. All my future colonies serve the Black.
2kcastle: Not worth the exalt, my dear brother just earned himself a punch the next time I see him.
eproxy: Yet another sad attempt at humiliating me and after all the things I've done for you. I wish I'd never given you BSG and My Name is Earl now.

I didn't think anyone would notice that to be honest! Lets just call it penance for not mailing me my book, which I got for Christmas, which I also havn't read yet.
Funnily enough it was Natmus who 'persuaded' me to get that book (even though he doesn't know it). The book is G.R.R Martins A Game of Thrones.

Oh I'm sorry, you must be incapable of travelling the 20 minutes home or getting mum and dad to come visit you as they regularly do. Also its not a small book and won't fit through a normal post box so that one mean that I would have to package it up and pay for postage.

20 minutes hur hur hur. Takes an hour at least, even then that involves a lift from the 'rents. As for packaging and postage I'm sure you could manage that, besides you know the parents would have paid for it
